Staff lovely - very attentive.
Food good but buffet always cold. Plenty new towels daily in room. Super location for touring/viewing the area. Pool area cleaned daily.

We booked dinner bed and breakfast..... breakfast lovely but dinner each evening was disappointing......the head receptionist was most unhelpful when we brought it to his attention......we tried to cancel our evening meal but he told us we couldn't get a refund for the rest of our stay.....we booked and paid for12 nights and after 3 nights we did not want to eat there...he said it was our loss. He was very rude and unhelpful..all the other staff were lovely. The hotel is very good but we wouldn't book dinner there again.

Lage nicht optimal ! Hoteleingang nur über eine kleine Straße über Parkplatz zu erreichen ! Der Eingang überhaupt nicht presäntativ ! Lobby uralt ,mit verstaubten Plasteblumen 👎🏿 Kaputte Korbsitzmöbel . Brakwasserkanal hinter dem Hotel ( Balkonsicht ) Restaurant ist KEINES , liegt im Keller mit wenig Licht und hat Kantinencharakter ! Flure uralt, Teppiche sehr verschlissen. Pool ist nur für Kinder , da sehr sehr flach !!!! Handtücher auf dem Zimmer sind grau und Uraltbestand !! Damit kann man sich abtrocknen . Badewanne und Amarturen ebenfalls aus dem vorrangigen Jahrhundert ! Poolliegen uralt ! Ambiente am Pool unmöglich .Positiv zu bewerten ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals ,sowie das erstaunlich schmackhafte Essen . NIEMALS 4 Sterne !!!!!!

Myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Vik Gran Hotel at the end of March into April. The staff at the hotel were super friendly including the bar staff Daniel and Nacho who even helped to organise bringing out a birthday cake for my sister and singing Happy Birthday in the Hotel bar. In Terms of Food, the breakfast has lots of choice with different varieties of pastries each morning e.g Pain Au Chocolate, Pain Au Raisin etc and then a selection of fried food, cereal and fruit - the coffees from coffee machine are really nice too. The pool bar does not serve food on the all inclusive package, meaning that you have to go indoors to eat when it’s sunny outside- however the prices are fair, a toasted panini with side of crisps is €2.80. The pool bar also closes at 5pm which I thought was a little early considering the sun was still out at this time. The pool itself is quite shallow and is more of a kids pool but is literally within 10 steps to the beach which is amazing. The rooms were perfect, clean and comfy beds and a nice balcony. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful and you can extend your checkout from 12 to 6 for 30 euros which is quite useful if you have a late flight. I would definitely return to this hotel again, thank you to all staff at the Vik Gran for being so welcoming.

We stayed here for one night. First impression was that we were stepping back in time! We did not go into the restaurant, it looked busy. We had a drink at the beach bar and the waiter said he could not accept a card or charging to room and that “cash was king” - we saw other guests using their cards after us!!! The room was quite large as was the bathroom, it was clean enough but showed signs of wear and tear. The room was quite hot at night, the air con was on “winter settings”. There was a smell of sewage from the water outlet outside and we could smell this sitting on our balcony. The hotel is a 4 star, I would say 3 star.

Totally chilled out stay, with superb views overlooking the sea and the boardwalk. Enjoyed the food - and spent more time in the dining area due to some showery evenings. Staff were fab, room was fab and the location is unbeatable. Look forward to going again.
