This is a detailed review but hope it helps! The hotel buildings themselves are pretty spectacular. Very design-led with wonderful features both inside and out. I mostly loved our suite, again very stylish with modern furnishings. I wasn't too keen on the bath being in the living area though - I prefer to maintain my dignity when bathing! We did have a lovely, relaxing stay, which was the point of our trip but there are some things that I believe need pointing out that guests aren't made aware of in advance, not that I saw anyway. We had booked a bed and breakfast stay but weren't told which of the restaurants we were to eat in. We found out eventually that it was in the Med restaurant, which is lovely with a fantastic selection of food, but on looking on the hotel's information it said that Med only opened at 1.30, not for breakfast, so we had been a bit confused by that. We were not told that it is around 100 euros to use one of the beds on the rooftop pool, I have only seen that information for another reviewer! Apparently you get a certain amount of that back in food and drink, but we were not told that. The Japo restaurant isn't in the hotel at all, it's down on the beach. The Beach Club is not yet open, although it is advertised on the website, it's due to open at the end of May. Sollo and Arara restaurants are also not inside the main hotel building, but on doing a bit of exploring found that they are a few yards down the road. There is no signage within the hotel to say where they are; they are just mentioned in the lift and at the top of one of the staircases. The lifts are a bit confusing until you get used to which lift goes where. Eg, in one lift you can select -1 but in the other lift that same floor is labelled as S! We weren't the only ones up and down like yoyos, haha! We didn't really feel like this was a holiday-makers hotel, lovely as it was. It seems to be focused primarily on corporate clients - apparently it has the biggest event and conference space in the Malaga area. And so rather than holiday-makers, the clientele seemed largely made up of delegates in groups of varying numbers. They also market their real estate arm within the hotel lobby and indeed most of the immediate view is made up of the huge complex of residences they are building. There is a huge sport and leisure complex within the hotel, with countless paddle tennis courts, regular tennis courts, a beach volleyball court along with an indoor swimming pool, and classes of every kind you could ever think of. One of the pools is on the same level as the sports club as is one of the restaurants, more a casual eating area than a restaurant. However all of this area does seem to cater largely for the members. There's no outdoor pool service as such, and the lifeguard only came on duty at around 12 noon to hand out towels. No music nor activities (which suited me just fine!) and not many people there either. Half a dozen at most, or just
