I have stayed in one of the best hotels in Costa Rica. I strongly recommend everyone to stay. The environmental facilities are very good. Even the water in the pipes is slippery.

This resort has an excellent location and the cleanliness of the overall property is wonderful; nested away from the main road, it provides a lush green and calm ambience. This hotel also has a private trail in the back, making it fun way to explore the woods. Amazing staff and service. Breakfast is wonderful as well.

Bereits zum dritten Mal haben wir vier Nächte in der superschönen, ruhig gelegenen Anlage des Lomas del Volcan verbracht. Dies sagt eigentlich bereits alles über die Anlage selber aus, welche sich am Fuss des Vulkans Arenal befindet. Leider bekamen wir wegen der schlechten Witterung den Vulkan während des ganzen Aufenthaltes dieses Mal nie zu Gesicht. Die Ausstattung der Bungalows ist zweckmässig und sauber, der Nassbereich und die WC-Anlage grosszügig bemessen. WLAN, Flat-TV, gefüllter Kühlschrank und Safe sind selbstverständlich vorhanden. Gratis Parkplätze hat es genügend. Die Bungalows, die Parkanlage, der Pool- und Wellnessbereich, alles wird mit viel Liebe gehegt und gepflegt. Jeder Bungalow hat irgendwie seinen eigenen Privatbereich, man fühlt sich von Anfang an wohl. Das hoteleigene Restaurant besticht durch sein Angebot, welches sehr köstlich, aber auch recht teuer ist. Die Preise liegen im höheren, mitteleuropäischen Segment, aber ein Besuch lohnt sich auf alle Fälle.

Such a nice property away from the business of La Fortuna but close enough that it is still easy to get to any activities you are wanting to do without a problem. The food is amazing and the restaurant even has a seperate vegan/vegetarian menu with so many options. Our room was a little bit of an uphill walk from the reception and pool area which was not a problem for us but is something to keep in mind if you are travelling with children or have mobility issues, but i’m sure you can request a more accessible room. All the rooms are seperate bungalows and very private. The staff is extremely friendly as well.

We stayed in an amazing new cabin - it was great!! Staff were friendly and helpful; pool area was quite relaxing and we enjoyed the convenience of dining at the resort.

Great hotel to visit La Fortuna. Our small bungalow was even better than advertised. The staff around the hotel is 5 star. Everyone was always friendly and help us with any questions we had about activities or restaurant recommendations. After doing different tours around the volcano, I still think the best view was at the hotel while having breakfast or during the afternoon at the pool. We also got to see monkeys / agouti / coati / beautiful birds directly on hotel grounds.

This hotel was my favorite of the two on the trip. It was located in a beautiful spot at the base of the volcano where we had almost every view we could imagine of the volcano with clouds, fog and clear and sunny. Our bungalow was private and I could sit on the porch in the mornings and listen to the many birds. The restaurant had great options and their breakfast buffet was included in our stay and there were so many choices. Food was great. Staff was great. We had 2 services each at the spa which were lovely. My husband had deep tissue massage twice and I had the "Relaxing Massage" and the Volcanic Mud massage which were fabulous. Highly recommend this hotel.
