The hotel was beautiful and the staff were amazing. The rooms were very roomy and the beds were comfortable. My kids loved sitting out on the patio and enjoying the views. The food was great and we loved that they had different varieties each morning for breakfast. Our kids and friends loved the pools and relaxing. Would highly recommend coming here to anyone.

What a great Hotel, a fantastic location ( with so many beautiful birds in it’s grounds, Paradise for us birdwatchers as well as nature lovers) The accommodation was brilliant right below the volcano. A great view to wake up to . The rooms had well kept gardens all round them, with balconies front and rear. Lovely for watching birds flitting around including hummingbirds! While drinking a cold beer. Everywhere was spotless, even the gardens where well tended. The staff were so friendly and pleasant, nothing was a problem for them. The food in main restaurant was brilliant. Bar snacks were good. You could always get a lift to you room day or night if the slope to your room was too much! The pool bar was excellent and Rudy was always happy and seemed to love his job and was good at it ( a asset to the hotel) All in all a great six days, in hindsight I wish I’d spent a little more time relaxing at this paradise rather then out on excursions!!

We really loved this hotel. We got the room with the bathtub, it was amazing. Very romantic and cozy. The breakfast was amazing, the best we had at Costa Rica, really worth it. The staff was very very cool. We really recommend this place. The dinner at the restaurant was excellent. The only thing is that when we came it was a little cold (for us, we are from Brazil) and the pool is not heated, and the water in the room was not that hot either. But it was not a problem, just something to have in mind.

Magnifique séjour de 3 nuits durant notre lune de miel. Vue incroyable sur le Volcan Arenal, et tranquillité car l hôtel est reculé et loin de l agitation de la Fortuna. Bungalow luxueux et service aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner est très varié et délicieux. Mention spéciale pour le bar dans la piscine.

I still can’t believe just how perfect this place was! Our entire time there from the moment we checked in until the day we checked out went perfect. The breakfast buffet was delicious and filled us up for our long days of excursions. Our deluxe bungalow was gorgeous with a great view of the volcano. Everything worked great in our room including our private jacuzzi. House cleaning did a great job every day. It’s in a great location within walking distance to some souvenir shops and places to eat and within 10 minutes of the downtown area.

This resort has an excellent location and the cleanliness of the overall property is wonderful; nested away from the main road, it provides a lush green and calm ambience. This hotel also has a private trail in the back, making it fun way to explore the woods. Amazing staff and service. Breakfast is wonderful as well.

Bereits zum dritten Mal haben wir vier Nächte in der superschönen, ruhig gelegenen Anlage des Lomas del Volcan verbracht. Dies sagt eigentlich bereits alles über die Anlage selber aus, welche sich am Fuss des Vulkans Arenal befindet. Leider bekamen wir wegen der schlechten Witterung den Vulkan während des ganzen Aufenthaltes dieses Mal nie zu Gesicht. Die Ausstattung der Bungalows ist zweckmässig und sauber, der Nassbereich und die WC-Anlage grosszügig bemessen. WLAN, Flat-TV, gefüllter Kühlschrank und Safe sind selbstverständlich vorhanden. Gratis Parkplätze hat es genügend. Die Bungalows, die Parkanlage, der Pool- und Wellnessbereich, alles wird mit viel Liebe gehegt und gepflegt. Jeder Bungalow hat irgendwie seinen eigenen Privatbereich, man fühlt sich von Anfang an wohl. Das hoteleigene Restaurant besticht durch sein Angebot, welches sehr köstlich, aber auch recht teuer ist. Die Preise liegen im höheren, mitteleuropäischen Segment, aber ein Besuch lohnt sich auf alle Fälle.
