Beautiful gardens and view of arenal volcano. Loved the hiking path on the property (about a 30min. Walk to complete the trail). Nice breakfast area with view of bird bath that attracts many different kinds of birds. Breakfast was not included in our stay, so we only had breakfast on site once.

A major disappoin**ent. No staff, no service. Reception amounts to handing over the key and off you go unescorted down the hill to your accommodation. Room was not bad, reasonably comfortable and furnished but lacked hot water. Cable television never worked during our three night stay.. No bar or food available during the day. Small restaurant with one worker to do everything. Fortunately he was a very good cook and pleasant waiter. but we never stayed around to see how he handled the dish washing. We had an excellent meal in an empty restaurant. We were the only people there that night, and wanted to return the next night, a week night, to save us driving into town, only to be informed that the restaurant would be closed. In short if you are only looking for a dry and clean room to hang your head this place works. As a resort hotel it falls very short. There must be better places to be found in the area for the same price.

Had coffee only & partner had a full breakfast
Upon checkout the guy told me I owed for two full breakfast
I showed him the receipt from ******* & he told me I still owed for 2 full breakfast
Had to argue with him & ended up paying for 1 full breakfast & coffee
Bed in room was Very Hard

Beautiful yard and farms with various tropical plants and birds including parrots,hummingbirds!

Great stay in La Fortuna! This property is slightly removed from the town which we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet. The grounds are very clean and well kept with lots of birds, flowers, puppies, and a beautiful view. The room was very clean, staff were friendly and breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend and would stay here again!

We stayed there for one night. The room was nice and clean. The area is nice. The staff is very friendly. We dined at the restaurant “yellow tree” inside the hotel properties, we loved the food! It was tasty, well presented and the chef was friendly too.

Nous avons occupé une chambre standard vulcano view il est utile de préciser que la vue est seulement depuis la terrasse, dans tous les cas le brouillard empêche une quelconque vue renseignement pris c'est quasi toujours le cas, nous y sommes restés 2 nuits, les chambres sont minimalistes, la propriété très bien entretenue et le restaurant excellent avec un cuisinier chanteur communicant sa joie de vivre" Pura Vida"

The view was spectacular of Arenal! The staff were excellent. Very humble, hospitable, understanding, educated, and entertaining! A birthday desert for my wife was a hot plate, volcanic style. The chef, Herman, who sang faintly in the kitchen to the radio, played Janice a song. The next song we danced. I was nauseated before and a few days after we arrived. Carlos gave me a great tonic tea of greens picked from a bush on the property. Highly recommended.
