My wife and I celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary at Amor Arenal. This trip was one of the best trips we have ever taken. Opening the door into our casita, in itself, blew our minds. The room was huge, stunning and had the most amazing view of the rain forest and the volcano. It was a room fit for a king and queen. The property has many pools, a gym, an amazing Spa, restaurants and amazing nature trails. The grounds are kept immaculate. I have to give personal thanks to some of the staff members who made this trip even more special; Bernie, our tour guide, showed us countless animals especially a Sloth and her baby that lives in the area. He also took us on an amazing night tour through the trail where we saw frogs, birds, snakes, and other wild life. Bernie is awesome. Traveling throughout the property, you can be carted with golf carts and a special thank you to Rosbing who was always helpful and a great guy. At the Restaurant and bar; Daniella, Cindy, Mauricio, Anthony, Dylan and Ronald were always helpful, pleasant and super accommodating. Daniella, thank you for showing us all the night time animals around the restaurant. You were super sweet. My wife and I fully recommend Amor Arenal and will definitely visit them again in the future

The favorite part of our two week Costa Rica vacation! We absolutely loved staying at Hotel Amor Arenal ---- LOVED it and we cannot wait to return! Our accommodations were beautiful - the staff was incredibly helpful - the food was amazing - the trails were shockingly beautiful - and the location was perfect. I cannot say enough good things about our experience there and we will absolutely return - next time with our adult family! We may return in just a few months we loved it that much!

One of the best Hotel i have ever been stayed in. You are right in the middle of the jungle. The rooms are picture perfect. The pool area is very cool and beautiful. The wet bar is also amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Will definitely go back very soon.

This is our second visit to Amor and we stayed three nights. It is an amazing place to stay. We had a view of the volcano from our jacuzzi. The food and the staff are amazing. We enjoyed the shorter hiking trail. We enjoyed the couples Sweet Sugarcane Massage. We will definitely be back.

Staying at Hotel Amor Arenal was one of the best experiences of our lives! Upon arriving we were immediately given a warm welcome by the front desk workers Jogebeth and Andrey. Our room was a beautiful wood cabin buried deep in the jungle equipped with large glass panes that give you a stunning view of Arenal Volcano. The amenities such as the personal jacuzzi, large rainfall shower, and laundry service made for a very comfortable stay! Whether you are walking to the resort’s heated pool bar, fitness center, restaurants, or spa, you can expect golf cart ride offers from many of the hotel’s friendly staff such as Wilson, who also delivered sunburn medication to my wife and I when we returned from our beach day trip. For breakfast, we loved going to the main on-site restaurant where we were greeted by hostess Jogebeth and served delicious, fresh food by fantastic waiters Dilan, Leo, Tony, and Carmen. During breakfast, we watched the hummingbirds fly by with the Arenal Volcano in the background. For lunch, the pool bar, tended by expert mixologist Gustavo, was a great place to get an appetizer and drink while enjoying the weather. Come dinner time, we would often go back to the main restaurant and always looked forward to seeing the lovely and bright evening hostess, Dani (Daniela). After our meal, we loved when she showed us the red-eye tree frogs, western tree snakes, and other critters right outside the restaurant. Dani also convinced us to try the exclusive Chef’s Corner experience offered at the hotel. It was a stunning five-course dinner prepared in front of us by the friendly and hilarious Chef Kevin, who gave us insight into the ingredients and preparation of each dish. If it happens to be raining in the morning/afternoon, we highly recommend going to the spa where you can hear the rain echo through the mountainous jungle as you relax with massages from the talented spa staff. Every staff member of the resort always had a smile, was eager to improve our stay, and often punctuated conversation with the phrase “Pura Vida”. P.S. My best friend and I traveled to Costa Rica and we stayed at Amor for 5 days and my only regret is not staying longer. We loved the privacy of the room and the hot tub was so perfect after all the adventuring. My absolute favorite thing was the shower which was as big as a room and overlooked the volcano. Breakfast was amazing, we tried something different everyday. I was obsessed with the orange juice, it was so fresh. We loved how friendly the staff was and how everyone went out of their way to learn our names. Dani was so lovely to talk to, show us frogs and be so kind when we dined in the restaurant. There’s a trail to go on the grounds and Bernie took us around and continued to point out animals even after the hike. We saw a mom and baby sloth right by the reception! Amor is really a dream, we feel so lucky to have experienced a great place like this. We’ve been home a few weeks now and all we can talk about is how much we loved staying here. Would really recommend this place to anyone. 👌🏼💕

We just returned from 7 nights at Amor Arenal and were blown away by the entire experience. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the 5 star service of the hotel, the gorgeous room, the jungle views and access trails, the quality of the food, the excursions, everything. The staff of the hotel are truly first class, as we got to know many during our weeklong stay. Jogebeth, the in-house concierge, met us at breakfast each morning and easily planned an itinerary of exceptional excursions for us. The resort feels very boutique, with only 31 rooms. We saw so much wildlife, and did not get one mosquito bite. The pools were beautiful and salt water. I could go on and on. I hope that we are able to plan another trip here. Thank you Amor Arenal. And for anyone considering this resort, do not hesitate!

What a gorgeous resort! We loved our two nights stay. It was one of the few times we looked forward to spending time in the hotel versus our usual passion for doing excursions. It truly exceeded our expectations. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We did not have bug spray or sunscreen, and they provided them complimentary. Highly recommend.
