Great place to stay. Perfect location for all activities. Close to town. The thermal spas on property were great. Lots of wildlife on property too!!

Fabulous stay at the lodge, our base for visiting mistico Park. Able to check into our room early and make use of the facilities. The pool and on site hot springs are fabulous. Wet bar at the pool where you can collect pool towels. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Plenty of seating/ sunbed options. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice but geared more towards traditional costa rican which I enjoyed trying. We also chose to eat in the evening at the hotel and the food was fresh and tasty. Everyone was very accommodating with my partner who is very fussy with food, they were able to adapt the meals to suit. Parking very close to the room. Rooms are quite dark but good in size with wardrobe, safety deposit box and coffee maker. Great location just off the main road but very quiet at night. Overall highly recommended.

I booked a Junior Suite room with a private plunge pool during their off season for 30% off directly on the site. It was incredibly spacious; the shower was HUGE. However the beds are a little outdated and unfortunately mine had ants on the last day; I understand it is the rainforest but as a bugphobe it was a little upsetting, ants are fine in the bathroom or room but not the bed :/ Nonetheless the room was commodious and the staff was kind and considerate. The breakfast is GREAT and makes me consider going back; they change it everyday and it’s a huge buffet with a waffle and omelette station. The hot springs/bar and pool do the job well; the sauna is a cute pod shape. Other hotels seemed a little more modern but this one is definitely a good value. The biggest criticism is that the plunge pool rooms don’t have lights by the private spring, so you can’t use them at night.

Todo el complejo de piletas es hermoso, entre la selva y con vistas al volcán. El desayuno es lo máximo, desde panes, gallo pinto, carne en salsa, frutas hasta un sector donde preparan omelets y waffles Las habitaciones con vista al jardín muy lindas. Hasta hay una máquina expendedora de hielo para toda ocasión
