This lodge is convenient since the tours tend to pick up here. It is located close to town so everything is convenient (driving, not walking) but is quiet and secluded. The rooms are nice, clean, basic. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. Lots of birds on the property but we didn't see any other animals. The thermal springs are priceless after a day of hiking or touring. There is a really hot spring, hot tubs, pools, and a thermal area with a swim up bar and jetted areas; open late. You can get food at the swim up bar or the restaurant. There is also a sauna. You can borrow 1 pool towel during your stay that must be returned. The breakfast wasn't for me, I didn't really enjoy it but it's included so I ate. Could definitely improve. I also noticed certain guests getting treated differently than others by staff. The rooms have a/c. Water pressure wasn't great but ok. Only get 2 towels total, not enough. Could hear neighbors too but was so tired it didn't matter. There are lots of other amenities on the property too. It is gated and security at the gate is strong. Parking is close to the rooms and we always had a spot. Wish the room had more places to hang up your damp things and put your luggage onto, rooms are large and there is plenty of room. Overall, would stay again.
