We had 2 nights here as part of a group tour and really enjoyed it. The individual lodges are beautiful, with great ac, comfy beds and a large bathroom. The grounds have beautiful views of the volcano, and there is a lovely swimming pool to cool off in. The hotel had a feeding/viewing area just outside the restaurant where they put food out early in the morning to attract the birds down. There is lots to do in Arenal - zip lining, waterfall, zorbing, rafting, wildlife parks etc. Less than 10min walk into the town for lots of restaurants, shops and bars.

Es algo mas que un hotel, es una familia que te acoge y cuidan, no tienen servicio de restaurante, tampoco lo necesitas, estas habitualmente todo el día fuera de las instalaciones haciendo rutas, etc y el pueblo lo tienes a 5 minutos andando, y en el encuentras todos los servicios. El desayuno, es variado y muy completo. Sitio bonito y acogedor. It is more than a hotel, it is a family that welcomes you and takes care of you, they do not have a restaurant service, nor do you need it, you are usually outside the facilities all day doing routes, etc. and you have the town a 5-minute walk away, and In it you find all the services. The bad......The lights were dim, she shower fluctuated a lot without moving the setting. Pillows and beds were worn out, not enough pool chairs, no place to set toiletries or clothes.
The good......people cleaning everywhere, pool was clean, sheets were clean, conveniently located, good breakfast, a/c worked well.

Hotel ideally located a few minutes walk from the center of La Fortuna. The view from the garden of the volcano is breathtaking on a clear day, and as a bonus you will have the opportunity to see all kinds of multicolored birds when you wake up and maybe even come across a sloth ;)
