Worst resort to deal with. We had made reservations and pre paid for stay at the resort from 12/26/23-12/29/23. Due to sudden death of my mother on 12/2623 we had to cut our vacation short and return to the US. Despite providing them the paperwork from the hospital where my mother was taken, they refused to reimburse the money prepaid for the stay.
I Will NEVER stay at he resort again and given their lack of professionalism would never recommend them to anyone. Dealing with them was worst possible experience for me.

This property is beautiful clean and just overall amazing I will be staying here again if were to come back to Costa Rica one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in the country by far !!!!

We stayed here for about a week and from the moment we got out of SJO (booked transport with Arenal Manoa) airport, I was in awe. Our driver was super friendly drove me and my mother the daunting 3hr drive through the winding roads and the heavy fog safely without any car sickness, he also offered many bathroom breaks. Now the resort itself is drop dead gorgeous… the flora and fauna the IG worthy views, pristine hot springs and pool area, I was in heaven. I didn’t want to leave. The staff manning the bars know exactly what they are doing… drinks were great, not too heavy handed just the right amount every time. Our housekeeper always put a smile on our faces at the end of our long adventurous days with her intricate towel or blanket art and dessert treats. I highly recommend taking advantage of the spa after some tours because our masseuses knew exactly how to get our bodies back on track so we can enjoy more adventures. At the end of our stay, again, Arenal Manoa arranged transport back to SJO and guess what they did? They offered us a to go breakfast meal!!! And!!! A little souvenir to take home. The hospitality alone at the Arenal Manoa will always get my recommendation. Sorry this is a long review, I can go on and on about how much I love this resort. So I’ll end this here, stop looking, it doesn’t get any better than here, book it you won’t regret it. Pura Vida!!

Arenal Manoa exceeded our expectations for hospitality and service. All of the staff was very warm and helpful, the room was large and clean, the views of the volcano were breathtaking, and the grounds are beautiful and provide a wonderful setting for the many birds and animals that inhabit or visit the resort. Our family was thrilled to see hummingbirds, iguanas, lizards, toucans, and even an armadillo on the grounds. We came to Costa Rica to see its natural beauty and animals, but had no idea we’d encounter so much of both before ever leaving the resort. Overall a wonderful experience!

Great location and the staff could not have been friendlier. Breakfast was amazing. The thermal spas need an upgrade as the Springs or Los Lagos both have better thermal experiences but Arenal Manoa was very quiet and clean.
