Great service - everyone was SO friendly and happy - was refreshing. Steven was my waiter for breakfast almost every morning and he always greeted with the best personality and definitely made me feel so welcome. View of the volcano was amazing from the hotel and was a great location to get to different activities.

The hotel is sooo beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly! We could see the volcano from the pool and the breakfast area. They helped us book tours and everything. The room is very comfortable and the shower is amazing! The frog tour is definitely a plus! We had a great time!

Such a fun walk seeing the frogs and other animals of the night. Our welcome drink was delicious. Our guide Josúe was very kind and informative. I would recommend this tour to my friends and if you have kids they would also enjoy it. Nice mostly flat walk.

I dont know even where to start... This place is absolutely fantastic!. Lobby/resteurant area is open and surrounded by nature. You can see Volcan Arenal... which looks so majestic and beatiful with jungle. We came late so we started with dinner. We order see base and salmon... absolutley delicious! Morning breakfast was also tasty and with nice variety. Our room clean, nice furnished, with air condition. Shower with oper celling...so you can hear frogs and birds. Night tour in frog sanctuary was very interesting and such a fun!...for the one who wants more information all hotel crew was super helpfull. We want say thank you to Jay - Kevin. With great enthusiasm he show us frogs and explained about their habits, diets and some interesting facts. Definitely that is our best hotel in Costa Rica. We would love to come back ❤️

Beautiful natural setting nestled into the rainforest at the base of LaFortuna waterfall and Arenal volcano. Educated staff who showed us wildlife and guided night hikes. Staff helpful in setting up tours. Rooms and facilities clean and grounds well maintained. Food good and fresh. Worth a stay!

Kevin is very friendly and made our night walk experience very lovely and enjoyable! He’s so kind and awesome! We enjoyed learning about different frogs and the beautiful environment near the hotel. It was folllowed by live music and q delicious meal.

We loved our stay and highly recommend! 1. The staff is incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable! They did an amazing job in scheduling our tours to make sure our experience was maximized. 2. We loved the complimentary breakfast (and coffee) as well as the complementary Night Walk which featured an awesome variety of local frogs & wildlife. 3. The hotel itself was clean and we loved the pool and jacuzzis which were perfect for leisure downtime. The hotel felt immersed in nature featuring tropical trees, views of the volcano, and wildlife (primarily a variety of tropical birds, but we even spotted a few howler monkeys from our balcony). We also enjoyed the cocktails and the restaurant was high-class. We very much enjoyed the Tomahawk Steak. 4. Location was also great as it was walking distance to the infamous waterfall hike, a quick commute to local restaurants and shops, close to the natural hot springs, and transportation was made easy as all of our tours picked us up directly from the hotel. Overall, we’d recommend this hotel to anyone, but especially for those who are looking to actively embody the Pura Vida way.

This place was full of beautiful surprises - from the welcome drinks and live music at dinner, to the frogs and other wildlife singing you to sleep - you won't want to leave. Randall and Ericka were so helpful in making sure we had all we needed. Highly recommend!
