Great staff, clean hotel, secure, excellent buffet breakfast and a fabulous location. View of the volcano and walking distance to town/restaurants. Driving distance to all major area sights. Would highly recommend this hotel if visiting La Fortuna!!

The staff was amazing (front desk and house keeping). They were attentive and helpful. The rooms are great for the price and the pool has a great view of the volcano. The breakfast was good. In walking distance to lot of food options.

We had a wonderful stay at the San Bosco Inn. The rooms and grounds are spotlessly beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Each room has its own private porch to sit outside to enjoy the lush gardens and to watch the many varieties of birds. There was even a sloth on the property!

Perfect location just around the corner from everything in La Fortuna. Comfy beds, high-functioning AC, great shower, lovely outdoor spaces, plentiful breakfast with something for everyone. The included free entry to Volcano Lodge is a plus, but don’t skip the pool at San Bosco - it’s the ideal temperature for an evening dip.

All the staff were truly kind and helpful and wonderful to work with. Breakfast was delicious (my husband was especially enamored with the pancakes?). Towels were plentiful. The room is rather basic - our toilet ran incessantly (until we remembered to jiggle the handle), room is a little dark, could definitely use a few more pillows. But the AC worked great, the outdoor seating areas were comfortable and plenty, the pool was the perfect temperature, and the location is truly ideal (quiet but super close to tons of restaurants, park and shopping). I would advise you don't get excited about the sister hotel's "thermal springs" - it is fine, nice that it's included, but just a glorified hot tub.

Location is great. Walking distance to the town Center and most of all dinner places. Breakfast is delicious, the pool very nice and with a view of the volcano top. Employees were very helpful, everything was clean. We were given a free day at the volcano lodge hot springs which was a bonus!
