Nayara Springs - Adults Only

The grounds are beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything about this place is extraordinary.

We stayed for three night to celebrate our 18th anniversary. All I can say is that it was best weekend getaway of our lives! The place is magical, the service is amazing and the food is spectacular!! Will definitely return! Highly recommended! Perfect for couples to reconnect.

First time in Costa Rica and Arenal and Nayara Springs was top on our list to visit. Very memorable stay and would eventually come back. But a few items kept it from being a five star experience. Resort: Love the grounds - lived up to expectations. There are plenty of flora and fauna to see just throughout. It is very hilly but walkable for those in shape. The golf carts are very helpful but during peak times plan on a 10-15 min wait. Rooms: Nice and spacious. Comfortable bed. The fridge is stocked with water, soda, beer. Snacks included. The liquor is not. The pool out the back is hot but there is a spigot to run cold water in order to bring down the temp. Maid service twice daily. They will restock your fridge as requested. Pools: Nice variety of types throughout the resort. No having to “save” chairs. Each pool has a different feel to it to suit your needs. Gotta at least do the hot thermal pool once during the stay - runs about 97 degree F. There are a series of these on the Nayara Tented resort but there is also a regular temp pool in the same area with a bar. Temperature of the pool waters overall just right. Service: The workers are friendly and most are efficient. The golf cart drivers are your best friend! But unlike some resorts where they know your name after day 1 and address u as Mr/Mrs…, doesn’t seem to happen much here. If at the pool, there is not the pool guy that helps you set up your chair - sure there are towels set out, but have been to places where the attendant makes up the lounger including rolling up one as a pillow. The waiter only makes a pass periodically to check on needs maybe once every 90min. Poolside service also doesn’t start until 10-11 am … considering that sunrise is at 5-5:30, that’s a long time sitting at the pool with no service. We had also taken the suggestion from others of getting a golf car tour of the resort when we arrived. This turned into a fiasco - We had scheduled this for the first day but then got changed to later in the morning, then the next day because it “wasn’t convenient for them” at the moment. When the driver showed up the next morning..he thought he was just taking us to another part of the resort and not on a tour. We were told our golf car tour needed to be rescheduled again because it was too busy! Fortunately our driver realized our situation and offered to take us on the tour himself!! Food: Breakfast each morning is included and all of the restaurants at each resort offer different options: at Nayara springs it’s ala carta, Nayara Garden it’s a typical buffet with omelette station and at Naraya tented it’s a buffet with some ala carte items. Lunch and dinner are not included and are expensive. The highlight meal for us was the prix fix dinner at Amor Loco. Unless u have a huge appetite, do the 4 course. They offered 4 amuse bouche, two prob were more like small apps. Service at the meal by all was impeccable. Would definitely e

Nayara resort was by far the best resort I have ever been to. The staff were terrific and super responsive. The food offered a variety of options for every palate and was incredible. The rooms were pristine. Wildlife was able to be seen on the resort property. Excursions were easily booked through the resort and transportation was never an issue. Transportation to and from the airport was also timely and professional. It was truly a 10/10 experience and was perfect getaway for our honeymoon. It would be a great trip for families as well.

We couldn’t have loved our experience more! The service, views, rooms, food, pools, ambiance, excursions, and spa were all 10/10!!! We felt cared for with every ask, loved our romantic villa, enjoyed every meal, and fell in love with the views from every spot on the property. The employees are as helpful and kind as can be - you won’t want for anything at Nayara, except more time there!

Our visit to Nayara Springs was a great experience in so many ways. The staff throughout the resort were always friendly and very helpful. The villa was spacious and very comfortable. The private outdoor shower and jacuzzi were nice features. We enjoyed each of our meals at Mis Amore (also the location for breakfast), Asia Luna as well as the private romantic dinner at Besame Mucho. Our spa treatments were fantastic...in such a unique setting. The activities, each arranged through the resort, were very fun. They included kayaking, bird watching and Pure Trek (what a blast). Spent our last afternoon relaxing at the pool and enjoyed lunch and bevs at the pool bar. Great way to end our visit to this special destination in Costa Rica.
