The lodge is located on the bank of the Guayabero River immersed in the great vegetation of the area. It is surprising because the truth is, sleeping in the middle of the sound of nature is something priceless. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, without insects. Shower facilities are outdoors. The food is very good and sufficient as well as the little bar at the entrance. Miguel's staff is very attentive and friendly. It is also important to highlight the coordination of activities: very well planned, as well as the activity of preparing the cocoa and serenade. Finally, it should be noted that the guides Angie and Angela, as well as the canoeists, were a 10. I have nothing bad to say. Just keep doing the same and promoting the preservation of this treasure you have in Colombia. Thank you infinitely!!

A successful experience from start to finish. Having booked a complete package directly via the Manigua website, including the flight from Bogota, several months in advance, this 3-day stay was one of the best moments of our stay in Colombia. From start to finish, the services provided are top notch, starting with the sending of plane tickets received by email a few weeks before departure, the advice on what to plan for the stay and the hikes, and all formalities for access to Canos Cristales (a natural wonder). We were picked up as soon as we got off the plane by our guide, and got into a sort of tuk-tuk to travel around the village, and go to the edge of the river for a departure by canoe. Luggage is taken care of to be dropped off directly at the lodge, while we do our first day of hiking. At the end of the afternoon, arrival by canoe, in a peaceful and completely exotic a**osphere. Very friendly welcome, extremely kind staff. Access to each bungalow is via paths on stilts. And these stilts are a great idea: we are immersed in the equatorial forest without it being oppressive. Each bungalow is far away from the others, so that you have the impression of being alone in the forest. The outside shower is very well appointed, both isolated from view and in the open air. The room is very large with large windows for an almost 360 degree view. Very clean, few insects provided the doors are closed properly. As for the meal, we really enjoyed it, in terms of quality and quantity. And it being the birthday of one of us, we had a magnificent cake served by all the staff and other customers singing. The best part: the cocktails prepared by Miguel on the terrace overlooking the Rio, at sunset. To summarize, the Macareno is in itself a destination that is worth the trip, but by going to the Manigua Lodge, it enhances the stay with an unforgettable experience and a caring team. We have already traveled all over the world, and it is one of our best memories.

La Manigua is the best hotel in La Macarena, the only one facing the river surrounded by the jungle, tranquility and the best amenities. The people are very dear, they organize all your plans, the guides are great and the entire experience from the location, the hikes, the rest, the food and the service is incredible!!

The guide Noe Artunduaga, the stay at La Manigua Lodge and the surroundings of Caño Cristales have made this trip the most wonderful I have ever made to nature. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, the hotel was very nice, comfortable and very well attended, and Caño Cristales was unique. The boat pilot Gustavo is also very special, attentive and very knowledgeable about river fauna.
