The hotel is very conveniently located in downtown close to all restaurants and 5 mins walk from the malecon. The staff is very friendly. We stayed in 2 different dates and the rooms overlooking the street are more lightly as the ones overlooking the pool are a bit dark. The pool is small and hard to get a bit of sun in this time of year. The hotel is doing some investments as a green hotel howevr they still provide toiletries that are not renewed throughout the stay hence 3 nights for 2 adults with 1 shampoo is a bit hard, I would recommend they install containers in the shower

This beautiful hotel is perfectly located and within walking distance from the Malecon, where you will find great restaurants and bars, overlook the water and take in the fantastic statues along the promenade. It is also close to the cathedral, museum, bakery and shopping. Clean rooms with housekeeping, included breakfast, at restaurant, Melt, next door. They have a shuttle bus, pool, and comfortable rooms with wonderful showers. Rooms contain a safe.

Last night someone tried to break into my moms room. The people who where in the next room where trying to open the door that conects the rooms ( supposedly they said they thought it was part of their suit) at mid night was the first time they tried she was woken because of the noise so in the she turned the light on and made noise so they knew someone was in that room, ( they noticed so they stopped for a few hours then continued but now forcing the door knob and making much more noise trying to open it). SHe called the front desk and till almost 4 in the morning is when security went and helped her. She was changed to a new room, yet this is UNEXEPTABLE. The guest who tried to open the door are still guest in that hotel supposedly leaving tomorrow. Its unexeptable those people are still guest in your hotel. It is not safe for the rest of the people staying and having the confidence they are safe there.
