Depot staff was kind and courteous. Rooms looked great smelled clean. However walls are thin and you could here everything. Over all good place. But if you want quiet dont go here.

If you are a rail enthusiast, it is difficult to find a hotel better than the Depot. Clean, comfortable, and filled with railroad paraphernalia. The rooms are delightful, including the large overstuffed recliners! It is just minutes from the popular La Plata station (60+ trains per day).

Well they have removed the common courtesy of an early check in. This property now charges for an early check in. The breakfast is poor at best and the pool was cold. I reported the ice machine leaking back in November when I was over charged fir room during hunting season and whee we n I stated this time in was still leaking. The newest have left the property go a little.

We always love staying here! The facility is always clean! The owners are always so nice! My kids always enjoy the pool! Only negative thing I have to say is this time I was awakened early in the morning by our toilet overflowing and it backed up everywhere, luckily it was all clean water but what a mess!

This charming, small hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable with an exceptionally friendly staff. We first stayed on our way south for a few weeks away from winter weather, and then we stayed again on our way back north. While we did not use the pool, it looked clean and attractive. Breakfast was what we usually find in hotels, but the quiet a**osphere and large wooden dining tables and chairs were pleasantly better than we have experienced other places. We definitely enjoyed this inn and would love to return.

Our family stayed at the Depot Inn as part of a short trip up to northern Missouri. It's a delightful hotel with friendly staff, beautiful decor (the lobby is a real charmer), and nice amenities, including an indoor pool. Our room was clean with comfortable beds, a nice TV setup, and a sink that was helpfully outside of the bathroom. Breakfast was simple -- boiled eggs, Belgian waffles, cereal, and various pastries -- but fine. One thing we wished the room had was a light-blocking curtain -- the rooms here do not have them, and as a result light filtered in through the blinds both at night from the street lights and in the morning from the sun. Despite that nit, we found this a good place to stay and made for a helpful launch pad for our Northern MO adventures.
