Very beautiful and very nice service

Absolutely appalling stay Food horrendous - 1 choice of meat or fish Got shouted at by staff trying to sit outside on terrace for using wrong door . Wardrobe door broken - reported on app and never fixed Order tea and coffee facilities on app - never arrived No welcome gift as advised Balcony discussing - green mould on walls and broken glass taped up - this is a 4 star hotel ??? Bar staff inconsistent - some served drinks in glasses other gave you plastic tumblers even when sitting inside Repose from customer relations manager very poor - didn’t answer half the points raised , after 3 requests has still not given me Barceló customer relations numbers and advised with the faults it’s my responsibility to chase it up if they have not been fixed . Stayed at this hotel a few years ago when it was a Barceló but standards seriously dropped . Was offered an upgrade on next stay- I wouldn’t go back if it was free !

My wife and I stayed here for week 18th to 24th of April, we had a lovely time at this hotel, my wife is partially disabled and the staff were so helpful and friendly. It is perfectly accessible in all areas. We had a superior room, very big with a great walk in shower very comfortable bed’s although the pillows are way too soft, however the room was clean and it was serviced each day. Our room was in the quiet pool area we couldn’t hear any noise from the the family area at all, huge choice of food at breakfast and dinner. All areas were spotless at all times. Mogan its self is very picturesque and quite unlike the usual ‘resort’ holiday area, more like a village really. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely return and the weather was marvellous.

Went to this hotel with my husband and 2 children, aged 8 and 11. We took the children out of school so it wasn’t peak time. It really is a lovely hotel . We were bed and breakfast, and breakfast was great, huge variety, clean, with staff working hard. There are 2 pool areas, quiet and family. We only spent time in the family area, there’s no reserving of sun-beds (while we were there anyway) which was lovely! Kids enjoyed the pool and the bouncy pillow. The pool is heated. There’s also a jacuzzi at the side of the pool which is nice. The entertainment staff ran different activities every day which were great for the ages of my kids. the wall climbing was excellent, archery, darts, football, basketball and paddle tennis they loved it all. We ate at the the pool bar one day which was nice, just burgers and hotdogs but the kids were happy. And we ordered room service one night which was lovely, food nice and hot and it was nice to have a relaxing night eating on the balcony. We went into Mogán town for the rest of our meals where there’s loads of lovely restaurants. We ate in an Italian called La Fenice on our last night which was fantastic! We went to the beach a couple of times, you can hire 2 sun beds and an umbrella for just over 10 euros. Card payment only. There’s loads of toilets at the beach and in the town too. A market runs on a Friday all the way down the promenade from the hotel to the town. A couple of negatives, all the treadmills were broken in the gym during our whole stay, well one semi-worked (buttons not working properly and could only get a max speed of 9). Reception said they are getting them fixed soon. Our room was nice but it smelled really bad, a bit sewer like and had a problem with flies coming from somewhere in the bathroom…. I did report to reception and someone came immediately to ‘disinfect’ but it didn’t solve the problem unfortunately. It was a room overlooking the children’s bouncy pillow so avoid if possible. We were talking to other families and they did not have this problem so we were maybe just unlucky! And also the service at the pool bar is not great, so so so slow and this was with the hotel being quiet so I’m not sure what it will be like in peak season. But all in all I give this lovely hotel the thumbs up and would love to go back… I would request a ground floor room overlooking the pool next time. And Mogán is just beautiful.

This is one of the rare occasions where I can find no complaints about a hotel. Its deserving of its 5 star rating. We went as an adult family of 7 and booked 3 superior pool access rooms. Prior to arrival I had requested that the rooms be adjoining, and they were. Location wise, I recommend 2157/8 & 9. They were situated by the quiet adult only pool. The terraces are spacious for us to gather together as a family to chat and sunbathe. The sun arrived on those terraces around midday. You can access the pool from the terrace door. Unfortunately you cannot lock the door from outside. As this could be a security issue, we made sure to get sunbeds facing our rooms. The rooms were clean, spacious and modern. There were 3 in one room. These 3 ladies could easily have fit in the huge bed, however there was a spacious double bed which was very easy to pull down. The bathroom has a wc, double sinks, wet shower area and bath. No bidet, but that's not necessary as there's a hand held shower on the wall. Dressing gowns & slippers are a nice touch. Floating beds/toys were not allowed in the quiet area pool. There's a nice bar/restaurant beside it. The main pool at the opposite side was a good size and family friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of cava if one wanted. Coffee served to the table. I would recommend using the coffee/chocolate machine inside the restaurant. I had hot chocolate and it was perfect. Fried eggs and omelette cooked to order. A good selection of fruits, cheeses, meats and an even better selection of hot foods. All of the staff were welcoming and efficient. They helped to give the personal touch to the hotel. It was about a 10 to 15 min stroll to the harbour. There's quite a bit of road renovation going on, hopefully it will be completed soon. There's a variety of restaurants and a small nightclub across the road from the hotel. E recognised some guest from the hotel there. At that time of year it wasnt very busy, but good fun, good music and a very friendly and welcoming barman. There's also a well stocked supermarket. I actually have one negative remark. We took taxi's in and out to the harbour. They cost less than €5 each way, but I think there's a prize been given to see who is the rudest dmost unfriendly driver.

This is our last day. We stayed in block 2 on the third floor. The room overlooked the pool. The room was large and modern with a great sized balcony. The beds were excellent haven’t slept so well in years. Check in was easy and completed without fuss. The Wi-Fi has worked throughout our week here with no issues. Breakfasts are busy. This is when you appreciate the amount of people actually staying at the hotel. The range and quality of the food is excellent. We also enjoyed a glass of cava with our breakfast👍. We didn’t eat any other meals in the hotel as there are numerous restaurants a short walk away in Mogan. All the staff were excellent, very polite friendly and helpful. Thank you. The hotel is large and I would suggest a quick walk round on your arrival to get your bearings. There are plenty of sun beds so there are no mad rushes at 7 am. In fact there were free sun beds at any time of the day. We did like the fact that family area was in a separate area which made the top pool a very peaceful and relaxing area. We will be booking again for next year. Thanks again to everyone in the hotel for creating a fantastic week. We loved it.

Right from the start the service and standards of this hotel are exceptional. The check in was smooth and we had a nice glass of cava as a welcome drink. Very modern, clean rooms which have their own sunbeds to relax on without leaving your room. Huge rooms and bathroom. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was busy but well organised and always got a table where we wanted to be seated. Good variety of food and drinks. We mainly went out of an evening but did watch the ABBA tribute in the hotel which was very good. Drinks at the hotel bar were reasonable. The hotel has two pools, one which is family friendly and the other which during our stay was peaceful, quiet and very relaxing. No problem getting a sunbed. Please do not change this set up as it is brilliant and works really well. The walk into beautiful Mogan is about 15 minutes where there is a large choice of restaurants, cafes and some bars. The evening entertainment is low key, we did find a few bars with music including Outlaws and Nigels that are both near to the hotel and well worth a visit. There is an excellent steak house across the road from the hotel which served decent steaks and good wine. Mogan is a fair drive from the airport, we hired a car and also visited Maspalomas (dunes are worth a visit) and not too far. All in all a fantastic holiday and we would return to this hotel.
