Loads of character and amazingly friendly staff. Breakfast in quaint dining room was lovely. Would highly recommend but be aware that it is an old hotel full of charm not a characterless boutique hotel.

Décevant, Très mal accueilli hormis le personnel du matin. Dans la chambre pas de chauffage, pas d’eau chaude. Personne prévient que c’est en panne.

Vu l'âge reculé apparent de cet hôtel, c'est l'âme de la reine Victoria qui vient à vous. Merci d'avoir laissé cet hôtel dans le jus de mon époque victorienne. Mais cela doit manquait de fraîcheur pour les humains du XXIème siècle. La moquette est aussi droite qu'une route de calèche à Londres. La douche, enfin la baignoire, est dépourvue de rideau, nous montrant dans notre plus simple appareil avec les miroirs sur le côté, derrière et devant. L'imitation "or" de la robinetterie me rappelle le faste d'antan. Les valets de chambre sont bien aimable, y compris le tenancier d'un âge avancé. Il manquerait aussi un remonte pente, enfin plutôt un ascenseur comme dirait mon arrière petit-enfant. En effet, mon nécessaire de toilette est important pour me montrer sous mon meilleur jour. Enfin, un volet occultant permettrait de masquer la lumière du jour et d'atténuer les jacassements de volatiles de l'aurore.
