Hôtel ancien, avec un magnifique escalier, très bien situé avec une agréable ambiance familiale. Très bon accueil dès l'arrivée et des informations dignes d'un office du tourisme pour toutes les activités à faire. Petits déjeuners très bons.

Je reçois un mail 3 jours avant d'arriver (nous étions en voyage itinérant à vélo) comme quoi ils ont fait une erreur au départ et le prix de ma chambre pour 2 nuits est passé de 135 € à 270 €. Aucun geste commercial n'est possible de leur part s'énerve le manager. Je suis libre d'annuler ma réservation, me dit-il, sauf que 3 jours avant d'arriver je ne pouvais rien trouver d'autre !! De plus la chambre ne correspond pas du tout à celle mise en avant sur leur site : des meubles désuets, 1 table de nuit et 1 lampe pour 3, une porte de salle de bain qui ferme très mal. L'ensemble est très mal insonorisé. Le manager est irrespectueux et la propriétaire hautaine. Heureusement que le reste du personnel est bienveillant.

It’s fine for a two star hotel. Not a place to book and spend much time there but it’s clean enough, room size ok, bathroom does the job. Wi-Fi is pretty poor tbh. The staff do their job, fine but not astonishing service. I didn’t have the breakfast but the restaurant looks smart and modern. The fitted shower in my room was well below my head height but powerful. They provide shower gel in a small bottle but couldn’t find shampoo (it may have been in the dispenser in the shower but it didn’t make clear so I used my own). My room didn’t have air con but I had a fan which was fine but it gets stuffy with neither on. You need to use a code to get in the hotel at night past 10pm. The room was cleaned during the day. It’s pretty basic, no frills but was absolutely satisfactory and had a great, central location right by the food market. Only a three minute walk from the bus station to/from the airport. Some good patisseries and restaurants/bars nearby and only a ten minute walk to the thriving port area. For the price I’d happily stay here again.

L'emplacement est idéal pour se balader à la Rochelle mais pas à la hauteur notamment pour la salle de bains en quasi ruine. Matelas avec un creux au milieu, éclairage bas de gamme, pas d'ascenseur... bref nous ne reviendrons pas, même si la salle de bains est prévue être refaite ce soir (chanceux les prochains voyageurs), ce que nous a annoncé fièrement la personne de l'accueil à notre départ !

Nice location on the edge of the old center, near a large parking facility. Nice and friendly staff, good sized rooms.
Wouldn't recommend the breakfast, it was pretty expensive for the quality of the food.

Nous avons prit (ma copine et moi) 2 nuits dans cette hôtel. Nous y avons passés qu’une nuit. La chambre ne ressemblait PAS DU TOUT au photo mais ça ce n’est rien quand on voit la propreté du lieu: poussière, toile d’araignée, mur et miroir noir. (photo a l’appui). Notre chambre était hyper mal insonorisée, on a pu constater que nos voisins de chambre on passait une très bonne nuit eux. Je ne suis pas difficile mais là je suis obligé de reconnaître que j’ai passé une très mauvaise nuit. Dommage l’hôtel est bien situé et le personnel jeune et accueillant. De plus la décoration de la chambre, qui sur les photos semble joli, rend beaucoup moins bien en vrai même un peu creepy. Notre porte de salle de bain ne se fermait pas. Pour toutes ces raisons nous nous sommes résolus à partir plus tôt et à passer la nuit dans un autre hôtel.

Nous sommes arrivés à 22h, épuisés de notre voyage, on nous a conduit dans une chambre miteuse avec vue sur une salle intérieure, bref de quoi être claustrophobe, on entend alors une femme parler de nous dans le couloir, elle toque et nous explique que son employé s’est trompé de chambre, heureusement pour nous même si on aurait préféré être conduit à la bonne chambre directement..la patronne n’était pas très professionnelle, limite désagréable. Pour ce qui était de la nouvelle chambre, il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude (plutôt problématique) et lorsqu’on l’a signalé à l’accueil on nous a répondu que ça fonctionnait très bien mais qu’on s’y était mal pris (vraiment difficile d’allumer une douche c’est bien connu). Bref très mauvaise expérience, heureusement que c’était pour une nuit, on aurait sans aucun doute changé “d’hôtel”.
