Tout à été parfait de la literie au petit déjeuner, sans oublier l’accueil de Vanessa, ses conseils sur les belles tables pour dîner ou déjeuner à La Rochelle. Il faut de temps en temps oser sortir des sentiers battus pour faire de jolies découvertes ! Fabrice

Un hôtel de petite taille, extrêmement charmant. Les chambres sont toutes décorées différemment, avec goût. Très bien placé dans La Rochelle, permettant de faire beaucoup de choses à pied ou à vélo. Et surtout un accueil particulièrement attentionné, et une grande disponibilité de la part de Vanessa, la propriétaire de ce petit écrin !

The setting is in a quiet square which was a boon, as all around the port was very noisy.
The bed was extremely comfortable, the air conditioning quiet ( barely needed as room was pleasingly cool) and the shower very effective( volume, heat and didn’t flood everywhere) . The room however was tiny for a double room.
The charming staff are only in for check in and breakfast.
There is a terrace with a lovely view.

Friendly owners. As noted in the description, this property is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. My room was bijou, but was well equipped, comfortable and I slept well. It was modern and fresh.

Such a small, cute hotel! Quiet and central location in the old town and above all the most helpful, warm and friendly staff. We booked the smallest room (I'd probably go one size larger next time) but it was still comfortable and worked well for one night.

Es gab einen sehr freundlichen Empfang durch Madam Moreau und obwohl wir weder französisch noch englisch sprechen, wurde uns alles sehr gut erklärt. Die Zimmer sind alle frisch und sehr geschmackvoll renoviert, superschön, klein aber gemütlich. Das Bad ist perfekt. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Diese kleine feine Hotel hat eine tolle Lage. Es waren zu Fuß keine zehn Minuten bis in die Stadt. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen. Vielen Dank Madam Moreau. Sybille

Second time staying here , the first was excellent and so was this . Room is just perfectly designed for a city break hotel . The rooftop retrace is just a lovely spot to relax prior to heading out for the evening in this fantastic city . Vanessa is an excellent host and if she recommends something to eat or do , take it , her advice has been spot on both visits .

Cancelled our booking, made two months previously, at six days notice with no reason given. Presumably our € is not good enough for them. You should assume that this is standard practice at this hotel (where a booking is made via a third party booking site) and therefore we would give it a miss.

Jolie surprise que cet établissement au coeur de La Rochelle. Très bien tenu, calme et accueil parfait. Personnel et gérant d'une très grande gentillesse. À deus pas du vieux port. Y retourner est programmé !
