We arrived having traversed three countries in 6 hours to find there was no hot water at the hotel. When quizzed (as they didn't advise at check in) the receptionist just said she didn't know when it would be fixed, later admitted not until the next day after we would have left! So cold showers only! Room was adequate typical of this type of hotel, we had a double bed but there wasn't that much spare room. Wifi was slow and patchy. Pool looked nice but full of kids during our stay. Breakfast not good at all, buffet style - none of our group of 14 enjoyed it! One plus point, plenty of ice in the ice machine in reception!

The hotel location is great, above a hill, the only issue was that there was a wedding going on the pool area. We arrived from a long day driving along the coast and wanted to take a dive in the pool and have some drinks, but it was impossible. We were not advised that a party was going to take place. It is very important to advise customers if this is going to happen. There was also a fetid smell in the hotel that bothered me for a while. Maybe due to Sewer problems.

Bien. Pero creo que quienes deben mejorar sustantivamente, son los del personal de meseros, restaurante y eventos. Para comenzar, tienen una cara de pocos amigos. Segundo, responden con lentitud y de manera equívoca a toda petición. Además, les faltan capacidades en atención al cliente y cultura turística. A mi, uno de ellos me llegó a levantar de una mesa, diciendo que estaba reservada para otro grupo, y resulta que luego se sentaron compañero míos en esa misma mesa. Y pensar que yo era el organizador del eventos. Son bien lentos y desamables, esa gente del restauratne. El Gerente del restaurante brilla por su ausencia.

A good hotel at a reasonable price. The room was a bit small but clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool was cool and had some palm tree debris on it when I finally decided to go have a swim. I opted for the kiddy pool instead but it was only slightly better. It has been breezy early, so it wasn’t the staff’s fault. Just bad timing on my end. The food was delicious and not overpriced. Happy to recommend. No beach at property but you can probably drive to one nearby. It’s next to the port of La Union and you can see the Bay of Fonseca. The Parque De La Familia is very close by. You can take tours of the gulf from there. The hotel will get you a contact number for that.

The restaurant and the breakfast were great. The price for the room didn’t match the amenities and it being clean. The pool had glass in it as well, and baby wipes. Making it not really enjoyable to use.
