VOLVIMOS CON EL RECUERDO MARAVILLOSO DE HACE DOS AÑOS Y NOS ESPERABA SORPRESA DESAGRADABLE. EL RESTAURANTE DEJABA BASTANTE QUE DESEAR. PEDIMOS ARROZ CON HABAS Y NOS TRAJERON UN ARROZ ZARAPASTROSO, INCOMIBLE Y PASADO. DE LO PEOR QUE HEMOS VISTO. EN EL DESAYONO PEDIMOS HUEVOS FRITOS Y NOS LOS TRAJERON CON UNA CANTIDAD BÁRBARA DE SAL, COMO SI HUBIERAN TIRADO UN SALERO DENTRO.

Una experiencia increible. Es el segundo año que vamos y volveremos a ir. Las villas son preciosas, increibles vistas y el jacuzzi es un plus. Pero lo más destacable serían el servicio y la comida. Tienen una comida exquisita, tipica de la zona y los platos además de buenos son muy bonitos visualmente. Destacar el servicio de Iván que nos recomendó los buñuelos variados, ha sido nuestro plato estrella. Gran cuidado en su trabajo y dedicación, lo que les hace proporcionarnos a los clientes una experiencia excelente, que sin duda, repetiremos. Por poner alguna pega serían los clientes irrespetuosos que hacen uso del jacuzzi a altas horas de la noche, pero eso no es culpa del hotel, es culpa de la falta de educación de algunos clientes.

Estuve solo una noche en una suite, pero fue una buena experiencia. Buenas vistas del paisaje. Los platos de carta del restaurante buenos y bien emplatados, restaurante muy bonito. Por poner alguna pega, carretera de acceso deteriorada. Sugerencia: faltan cortinas en las ventanas y una cafetera/tetera en la habitación.

We stayed for one night at this delightful hotel. Simple but spotless rooms, and a lovely restuarant with VIEWS that are breathtaking. 3 course dinner was delicious, and our waitress, Carla, managed 8 tables impeccably. The pool area is quiet and picturesque, and the walks are abundant and scenic. Nice wine list, and not at all expensive. We stayed for dinner, bed and breakfast for the princely sum of 84 euro per person a night! Beds comfy and wide choice of pilows. Take plenty of time getting there because it is perched at the very top of a large hill. A special place.

A very nice experience for two nights of our medium challenging walking holiday. In January, so very much out of season, but welcoming atmosphere and everything working as advertised. Having lived a few years in Spain you just have to accept that Spanish four star is always a decent Anglo-Saxon three star - although gradually getting better. But I sympathise with the commenters who are unhappy about that. At Alahuar I strongly recommend paying to upgrade to the “bungalow” rooms which are spacious, well-appointed and with terrific views and gorgeous sunrises. Best thing is the restaurant which is well above what you might reasonably expect - big breakfast choice and good quality, totally authentic Spanish dinners. (Although some out of date items in the gluten-free range which is a bit “Spanish” I’m afraid). Would go back to Beninaurell and this hotel anytime though. And probably will.

Ha sido una estancia muy acogedora con unas vistas preciosas del valle. Los camareros del restaurante muy amables y atentos y la comida exquisita, nos hemos quedado muy satisfechos y con el estómago bien lleno. El buffet del desayuno tiene gran variedad y calidad, lo único es que las tortitas y el bacon estaban fríos.

The hotel is a gem in a beautiful environment and the restaurant was really really super. We only stayed for one night and had a great long hike in the mountains. The only thing we did not like was that the staff upon arrival was very unfriendly... let us wait until exact check in time without even the possibility to buy a drink at the bar "no place, full". We understand that there might be shortage of staff during the busy season but the way messages are communicated are easy to improve!
