Hotels near Großer Koldinger See in Laatzen

In our group several of us had asked for separate beds but got one double. Me and my husband got separate. The bar, opening hours were 5 pm ’til midnight, announced both on the internet and in every room. In fact it was not open at all. The woman in the reception sighed loudly when we asked for something, for example a glass for the drinks we bought from the cooler. Or some nuts. The soap in the shower was empty. I wanted some pepper for my scrambled eggs and used the one with a big P on it. It contained salt.

My wife and I stayed two nights. We have been here before on shorter stop-overs and chose the hotel again for our recent stay. The hotel is located in the Exhibitions Area with very good access to motorways A37, A7, and A2, and the Leine-Center with about 60 shops and restaurants is within a short walk. Even though the hotel is situated outside the downtown area, it is okay for sightseeing in the Hannover area. Within a short walk you will find the subway station Laatzen Zentrum (U1) with excellent connections to downtown and other lines. Short time parking is available for check-in and check-out in front of the hotel and good garage parking is available at EUR 7/night. Unfortunately, the short time parking spaces were used for overnight parking during our stay, and this annoying issue should be addressed by the management. Our room was a business room with access to the Executive Lounge. The room was spacious and comfortable with a/c, safe and coffee maker. It was very quiet and clean, and in the business lounge we had a drink and a snack both days. The included buffet breakfast was very good with a large selection of both hot and cold dishes.

Beautiful, modern and clean room equipment. Service and staff are all very nice and premature, you have met all our wishes. The full coffee machine is available and you can take a coffee or similar at any time outside the breakfast times. Apple juice, juice, different cutting, liver sauce, cheese, vegetables such as paprika, tomatoes and gurk are served. Various marble stores are available. Touching with spice and cooked eggs, butter bread and breads all there, more I think spontaneously not one but for a small overview should it suffice. We had a room right on the street, which brought a light noise scene, but that didn't really disturb us. Plus a restaurant in the building is also available, which I would recommend further. (Very good 🍕!!) For this price segment, there is nothing to challenge, I think. We would come back, thank you!

Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Messegelände und der ZAG Arena, in die Innenstadt braucht man mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ca. 30 Minuten. Die Allgemeinbereiche erinnern stark an die 90er Jahre bzw Anfang der 2000er und könnten eine kleine Modernisierung vertragen. Der ”SPA-Bereich” ist einfach eine Sauna mit Duschen, Umkleide und einem kleinen kahlen Raum mit zwei kargen Liegen. Nicht mal Deko. Wirkte sehr lieblos und nicht so, als würde sich häufig jemand hierher verirren. Unser Zimmer hat uns hingegen gut gefallen. Bett bequem, Bad in Ordnung, Sauberkeit hat auch gepasst. Das Frühstück fanden wir ebenfalls gut und haben nichts vermisst. Preislich dafür, dass es so weit außerhalb der Stadt liegt und keine netten Extras (wie z. B. einen schönen SPA-Bereich ;-)) bietet, eher am oberen Rand. Parkhaus mit 22 €/Nacht ebenfalls nicht günstig.

The hotel is very characteristic, in the city center, convenient transportation, Trip.com booking is also very convenient, a good choice for business travel, it is not good to book a room during the previous exhibition, the price is a bit expensive

Sadly having a negative review about an Accor hotel after a very long time.. So here goes - first look at the hotel, completely impressed. Great structure, beautiful green surroundings, just amazing - check in: Saturday 7th August. The lady at the counter seemed genuinely upset that we had decided to disturb her by checking in. Having a bad day perhaps ? Sorry but you chose to work in the service industry. - At 14:15 i was told that I have to pay more since check in time is 15:00. Unfortunately I had to throw out the 'I am a Gold member' card. Does it need to come to this ? Shouldnt the system be checked first before asking a client to pay ? While I know this is Germany / Europe etc. and service is not considered important, I would make it clear I was not expecting a red carpet or trumpets. A simple smile and welcome to the hotel would have been enough. -No welcome drink voucher offered. I did not even bother asking for one. In the rest of the world the Gold card (or membership) is acknowledged with a thank you or a welcome back etc. Again not life changing at all. But isnt that the reason one stays in a chain hotel instead of family BnB's or Airbnb etc. so that one can expect uniformity irrespective of the location? Something for Accor to ponder about. Room - There is no AC. Just FYI. No complains because I had just assumed there will be one and not checked in advance - Booked a double bed which ended up being with 2 seperate single matresses. So if you are there with your partner and hoping to even hug in bed, one of you will slip in between the matresses. Bizarre ! Location - great with respect to the train station and all other sigh seeing venues - negative because it is close to a (what seems major) intersections and open windows and emergency vehicles can make life tough. Lastly.. There was no espresso machine in the room and if I remember correctly no bathrobe either. While the corona excuse might be valid, I believe anyone willingly chosing to stay in a hotel will not suddenly get worried because of an espresso machine in the room. Please do not advertise it anymore or state it clearly that is to save money. The biggest positive - Free parking Quote EXECUTIVE - 1DB BED 2 Adults , 0 Child Even more space for added comfort. I have stayed here regularly visiting family since 2007 and it’s still my favorite place to stay in Hannover. I usually try to book the „apartment standard plus“ with a separate sleeping area. Since it is on the fourth floor it can get pretty hot up there in the summer since there is no AC. The location is convenient not far from the tram stop, breakfast buffet is very good (minus the fact that there is no decaf coffee), it is very clean and there are laundry facilities (for a charge). What more do you need? Would definitely recommend, especially for longer stays.

The hotel room is very large, there is a supermarket nearby, super convenient, the subway is also at the door, there are many restaurants, shops, small bars, the hotel has Chinese breakfast, the hometown of Guangxi, very kind.
