The Hotel Peteani is a family-owned, professionally run, perfect little hotel a short walk downhill from the historic hilltop town center of Labin. Although it is on a fairly busy road running up the hill, it is super-quiet and peaceful. It is clean and well-maintained, staff are polite and genuinely helpful, beds are very comfortable. With few eating options nearby, the restaurant here takes on more importance. Breakfast is very good, although if you want real coffee instead of machine-instant you have to ask for it. The restaurant also serves dinner, which is a bit pricey but generally excellent; if you reserve a table, it seems to be yours for the night (warning: several nearby restaurants are closed on Mondays, even in high tourist season). Overall, the hotel seems to be committed to service; our host, Mr. Peteani, tracked down a pair of earrings my wife left behind, and mailed them to her, a kindness we will remember for a long time. Personally, I will seek out a reason to return to Labin just so I can stay in this outstanding hotel.

This is our second stay and pleased to say that the visit was as good as we remembered. The room was large and comfortable and we were lucky to have the balcony for outside space. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and the food is excellent, freshly prepared and of the highest quality. All the staff were friendly and helpful and made this another memorable stay. The Peteani offers a good location for visiting some of istria’s inland sites but also only an hours drive to Pula and Rovinj and more touristy areas.

Convenient location, with parking, a few steps from the center of Labin. Breakfast is also good. The organization of check in and certainly check out needs to be improved. More attention should be paid to general cleaning and details. Good potential.

Great food in great ambient! Special thanks goes to their professional waiters. They were kind, helpful and knowledgeable, which resulted in both kids and grownups having lovely time all together. Highly recommend!

Charming hotel with ultra pleasant and chic service. Superb comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast. We would have liked to stay longer. It's rare but everything was perfect.

Fully and lovingly furnished apar**ent. Just a few minutes walk to the old town. Unfortunately located on a busy street. Luckily you can't hear any of this in the accommodation. Parking spaces available. Highly recommended!
