Excellent hotel, everything is clean. I recommend it!!! We walked from the airport in 10 minutes. Definitely take the Komodo tour!!! We booked a one-day speedboat trip for 4000 rubles per person through Trips, which is very cheap. Prices are much higher if you book on the spot. We are very satisfied!!!

Cleanliness is key, and it delivered. It's a 15-minute walk to the airport, but there's almost nothing else around. Getting to Soekarno-Hatta by motorbike takes only 7 minutes.

The hotel management is incompetent. There's a stray cat that has been living in the hotel lobby for a long time, and the staff doesn't remove it. Instead, they just let it roam freely. On June 25th, I was scratched by this cat. I was waiting by the elevator when the cat approached me from behind and scratched me. My negotiations with the hotel staff were fruitless; they were uncooperative and kept emphasizing that it was a stray cat and not their responsibility. However, according to relevant laws and regulations: **I. Core Legal Basis (Indonesian Civil Code KUHPerdata + Premise Safety Obligation)** 1. **Article 1365 of the Civil Code (Tort Liability):** As a commercial establishment, the hotel has an obligation to ensure the safety of its guests, including removing stray cats and eliminating the risk of animal-related injuries. Allowing a stray cat to roam freely in the hotel's public areas for an extended period constitutes a failure to uphold its safety management duties and is considered negligent tort, for which the hotel is liable for the guest's injuries. 2. **Article 1368 of the Civil Code (Animal Damage Liability):** Even if it's a stray cat, if the hotel consistently allows it to feed and linger on its premises, it will be deemed the de facto manager and held liable for any injuries caused by the animal. **II. All Compensation Items You Are Entitled to Claim from the Hotel Under Indonesian Law (Categorized by Statutory Compensation Type)** 1. **Direct Reimbursement (Must be paid in full):** * Emergency wound cleaning and disinfection costs. * Full course of rabies vaccinations and rabies immunoglobulin injections (supported by receipts from local Indonesian clinics/hospitals). * All medical expenses for follow-up visits, anti-inflammatory medication, and anti-infection treatment. * Transportation costs (taxi, boat) to and from the hospital (seeking medical attention from Komodo Island often requires boat travel to the main island of Flores). 2. **Indirect Loss Compensation (Negotiable):** * Losses incurred due to the injury disrupting the original travel itinerary: cancellation fees for pre-booked activities, and differences in air/boat ticket prices due to forced early return. * Additional accommodation and food expenses incurred during the injury period. * If the injury leads to lost work during the trip, reasonable compensation for lost income can be claimed (proof of employment income required). 3. **Emotional Distress Compensation (Can be added during mediation/complaint):** * This falls under non-material damages in Indonesian civil torts. It involves negotiating compensation for the panic caused by the scratch, anxiety about rabies infection, and the suffering from illness during the trip. There is no fixed statutory amount; it is negotiated based on the severity of the injury.

Apologies for the delayed review, but I simply had to share my wonderful experience at Eliyana Homestay! It was truly heartwarming, and I have to give a special shout-out to the front desk lady! We arrived with a pile of large luggage, and she immediately came over to help us carry it upstairs, being incredibly helpful throughout. When I urgently needed to make an international call during our stay, she patiently assisted us, never once making us feel like a bother. The most pleasant surprise was the thoughtful laundry service – all our accumulated dirty clothes from the trip were quickly washed and tidied up by the homestay, so we didn't have to worry about laundry at all while traveling. The homestay's location is excellent; it's just a few hundred meters' walk to Komodo Airport, making travel super convenient. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with comfortable bedding and complete amenities. The owner's service was meticulous and attentive, and they were gentle and friendly. The value for money is absolutely top-notch. The next time I visit Labuan Bajo, I will definitely choose this place again. Highly recommended to anyone traveling!

Needed a close-by hotel for an early/late flight, and this was incredibly convenient – just a few minutes' walk from the airport! The room was spotless, and the front desk lady was super nice and welcoming. She helped me with everything I needed. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Komodo.

This hotel is a new build. The rooms are clean, and it's close to the airport. The service is incredibly friendly.
