A truly wonderful hotel.
With only 9 rooms, the staff focuses on making every guest experience exceptional.
The location is great, central enough to explore the Island and come back too every day. While the view from, and upon exiting, your room will take your breath away every single time.
All of the accommodations are top notch, the bed was supremely comfortable and even the linens and towels had a plush feeling.
Breakfast options can be slightly redundant but the quality and freshness of the ingredients, along homemade jam and juice, as well as a flexibility to switch things up on the menu, more than make up for it.
We the hotel restaurant is excellent for dinner as well. So much so that we ended up defaulting to it more than once during our stay.
We also appreciated small details like the phone they provided upon check-in that followed us everywhere on the island for spur of the moment suggestions and reservations through the hotel!
All in all, highly recommended, my wife and I know we’ll be back!

Absolutely fantastic stay! 10/10 would recommend. The jacuzzi (which everyone has access to) has a fantastic view.

Spent the last few nights of a weeklong trip to the Azores here and I realized I did not know what peace was before staying here. - Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It was a 30th birthday trip for me that we casually mentioned at check-in but the staff went above and beyond day of to make me feel special - The views were breathtaking. Drinking my morning coffee on our balcony or sitting by the fire pit drinking a cocktail after dinner - the sounds the waves of the Atlantic made crashing against the rocks was therapeutic - It was October and a bit cold so we didn't go in but the pool did look lovely - Breakfast and dinner at the on-site restaurant was wonderful, especially the outdoor seating. Special shoutout to the bread box! My girlfriend's favorite. - Room was large, clean, bright and modern. Bed was comfortable, bathroom had helpful amenities - Ample parking in their designated spots, was never an issue We genuinely had an unforgettable trip and this hotel played a major role in that. Skip the larger sterile "5 star" hotels on the island. This is where you want to stay.

Great stay, very high quality room with superb service. We were on island on business but would have been equally happy if here on leisure. Friendly attentive staff, good food and the fire place in the room was a lovely touch. Easy to get to and from the airport

My wife and I stayed for four nights in the Villa. What an unmatched experience. Check-in was very easy and we arrived early from a red-eye flight and given our room was available they allowed us to access our room early and get settled in and have breakfast. The breakfast is delicious and when weather is nice you can take it outside for the views. The room was beautiful, comfortable and impeccably clean. The staff was amazing, incredibly helpful and put together a detailed and clear itinerary for all our little day trip that was customized for whatever we wanted to do. They set up dinner reservations and other activities. The whole experience was one of the better hotel stays we have had.

My wife and I spent 3 nights here after a week in Porto and it was a perfect ending to our Portugal trip. The facility is fantastic and the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, RIGHT on the water overlooking the Atlantic. We had the balcony room just above the infinity pool. Breakfast is terrific and plentiful and they even have a fresh “orange juice of the day”. We also had dinner in the outdoor cabana. My wife had the barracuda (catch of the day) and said it was just about the best fish she’s ever had. A special shout out to Sara (front desk/concierge). She was tremendous. She not only printed out a list of sites to visit in our rental car, but she even created a Google Maps route for us in a smart phone she lent us during our stay. She also used to the phone to communicate restaurant reservations and shopping destinations. Sara is a gem! We can’t say enough about our stay at White.
