Lahıc Guesthouse

Rustem's Lahic Guest House ist ein wunderbarer Ort zum Ausrhen, Entspannen, Wandern, Genießen! Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete, freundliche Zimmer mit viel Holz und schönen Teppichen, wunderbarem Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge. Es steht mitten in einem Obstgarten mit vielen Oasen zum Sitzen, Lesen, Essen und Reden. Rustem spricht gut Englisch und hat viel Wissen über das Dorf und seine Geschichte. Und er serviert zum Frühstück auch hausgemachte Marmeladen und Säfte. Ein Besuch in Rustems Guest House ist eine wirkliche Bereicherung für jeden Azerbaijan-Besuch.

A spacey room with large balcony facing most gorgeously scenic view of wood covered mountain. Impeccably clean property all over. Most hospitable and knowledgeable host: Dr Rustam, with whom we’ve made friends. Delicious meals, both breakfast and dinner. All prepared from organic ingredients in very best of culinary traditions of Azerbaijani Cuisine. The guesthouse is surrounded by large garden, with rows of roses, and fruit orchards to it. Ideally relaxing accommodations in the heart of the ancient Tat village of Lahic. The village centre, with copper, wood, etc workshops - in walkable distance. Tussi Astrophysical Observatory in Pirqulu is located in 30 minutes of driving time distance. Great many walking/hiking routes are starting from the guesthouse. I’m grateful to Dr Rustam for his wonderful hospitality and friendship. Hopefully, next year I’ll be revisiting Lahic Guesthouse with my family members.

We went twice to Roustam guesthouse and both time were amazing experiences! The setting is beautiful, the bedrooms are very comfortable, the food is delicious and overall, the warm welcome and care of Roustam Bey is wonderful. We had 2 marvelous times walking around the lovely Lahic village, hiking around in the beautiful nature (many hikes for all level) and just chilling in the guestroom, enjoying the view from the balcony or the garden. Looking forward to come back again soon!

I can say without question that staying at the Lahic Guesthouse with our host Rustam, was absolutely beautiful in every way. Rustam is the most gracious host anyone could ever hope to have, and his guesthouse (which he himself designed and had built some 10 or so years ago,) is the perfect place to stay. The rooms are large and very comfortable, and the property itself, inside and out, is so beautiful. We stayed here in late October when the weather was cool, but the house was warm and the fire place was lovely to sit around. During our 3-night stay we enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning, and we chose to have evening meals prepared for us, which were something different and special every night. I can honestly say that I can't think of a nicer place we have ever stayed in all our years of travel, nor a nicer host and honorable man as Rustam. Thank you so very much, Rustam, it has been such a pleasure to spend this time with you. Thank you for the evening conversations and for everything you did to help us enjoy our stay in Lahic.
