Never could get the ac to work is was set at 69 and was hot in the room

AWFUL!!!! Please, for the love of all things, go somewhere else. The lobby is completely closed, you check in through the night window. No info given by the clerk- about anything except my room location. I’m guessing breakfast isn’t an option seeing how the lobby is CLOSED! The steps near the pool are falling apart at the top (trip hazard)! Then there’s the pool- which looks like a slime experiment gone wrong- green with stuff floating in it! The room smells like sweat...nasty! The stove is shattered. The air conditioning was not on when we got here, so it was near 80 degrees when we checked in. Two towels for a 4 person room to shower with. Half a roll of toilet paper, with no extra roll. I’ve stayed in some sketchy motels in my time but this one is definitely in the top 10. I would go elsewhere, but they already drafted my account and my kids are tired from being in the car for 10 hours.

Do not reserve In this hotel. Manager/owner Peter is not professional at all. His wife and him per our conversation are the only ones in the front office and no one else. According to this gentleman they work there 24/7 all the time. I made a reservation via Priceline and moments after I called the hotel to verify my reservation. They only have two options when you call it’s either you give out the room number that your trying to contact or the operator. I call the operator and I let them know I made a reservation and want to know if ofcourse the amenity I wanted was open which was the pool. The gentleman that Answered stated no I’m sorry it’s closed for the moment. So I tell them never mind I’m going to cancel so I call Priceline to cancel and they place me on hold while they call the hotel to ask for a refund. Well then they speak to a lady which I assume is the wife and she states the manager/owner mr Peter left for a moment but would be back in 15 min. So they stated they would call me back 24-48 hrs after to let me know if there were able to get a refund. I decide to call Priceline today and the representative states in their notes the agent that called yesterday stated he had spoke to a lady and they would get a follow up. So then today’s representative stated he will call again to see if he can request the refund and Mr Peter answers and stated that he had no record of anyone from Priceline calling nor me calling. Keep in mind I have my call record where I called the hotel and price line as well. So Mr. Peter states no he will not issue a refund so I was upset so Priceline stated I could call to try to talk to the owner. I decided instead to go to the property today and before going into the office I went to see if the pool was open and serviceable. I have pictures and witnesses that the pool had a red lock on the gate. There was a white plastic covering placed on a part of the pool. So then I went kindly into the office asked to speak to the owner which is Peter and he was the one that was there. I told him and explain the situation and kindly ask for a refund he stated no. I told him look I called yesterday and I specifically asked if the pool was open and your operator stated no. He said well you might had called the wrong number I said no. Can you tell me and verify the number and I can show you my call log he said no. I then see his business card which I got one with the name and phone number. I said this is the number I called, I showed him my phone with the call log and time and he said well I don’t know who you spoke to only me and my wife are here and answer the phone. I told him well isn’t it weird I call and speak to a gentleman and they tell me the pool is closed and then Priceline rep calls and he speaks to front desk as well to the same number and you have no record like really. He said I don’t know but no one has Called us. I told him this is dumb I said I didn’t come nor stay I called y’all and Called Priceline and we both

Nice place clean and newly renovated it seems. Up to date furnitures, bedding and decor as well. The room I stayed in floor was Laminated wood. Which is a clear winner obviously. When it comes to maintenance and care. It requires very little effort to keep it looking new and clean. Unlike carpet which traps allergens and dust. Laminate floors doesn’t harbor dirt and bacteria. Which is bad for my allergies. The property is close to the interstates and one of the main highways in the city. It’s not noisy though. Several options for food nearby. Have stayed here a couple times in the past and will most likely in the future. Staff was very friendly, room was clean and spacious. The Wi-Fi internet was high speed. The rates were affordable. Overall great stay. *****

Hotel in very bad shape. Dead bolt does did not work. Hair dryer broken did not work. Sheets had holes in them. Pool was a non-useable. It was filthy and not operational at all. Was rated on-line as a "3" hotel and was not even a "1". Worst hotel I ever stayed at in my 65 years.

Overall it was a nice stay. Clean room, comfortable and easy access to the highway.

Easy accessibility to interstate 210.
