We called on the way up there and booked the room. That part went well. When we arrived at check in we was told we needed to pay for parking. That was an additional $30 for the two night. For the same breakfast most hotels provide was was an additional $81. We then went to their water park and they charge you for the towels. When we turned them back in they told us they said they took that off of oour bill. The room was clean but had a electric problem. If we bumped the counter that the microwave sat on, it would turn on. We only stayed two nights. Just keep in mind that they are loaded with extra charges. We won't be returning to this hotel.

We’ve stayed here before and have also stayed at the Wilderness. The positives about GWL is you don’t have to walk for miles to get to the waterpark/rooms. All workers we encountered were friendly. We like the layout of the waterpark. Drinks/food in the waterpark are reasonably priced and large portions. Now the bad- this place is filthy! I don’t think they’ve dusted, wiped down surfaces, or vacuumed in years! The main lobby was probably the worst of it. The cobwebs and dust hanging from the taxidermy animals…yikes! I haven’t seen anybody come around with a duster or even a rag cleaning a single thing this entire stay. It’s one thing to have worn, tattered furniture but it’s a whole other thing when it comes to filth. Sadly, we won’t be back and we’ll be going to the Wilderness from now on.

Went with my 2 boys (6 and 2) along with my 8 month pregnant wife. Was an absolute blast for the kids as well as myself. We got the wolf pass add on which was well worth it. The quest live action game was a bit much for my 2 year old and my wife was well 8 months pregnant and miserable so we left early but my older son was having a blast. We will be going again next year!

Very clean, very friendly staff. We enjoyed the massive water park, the arcade, and the food. We never had to leave because everything we needed was right here, there was even a dance party in the lobby for the kids in the evening hours.

I didn't like the late check-in hour and very early checkout, ridiculous. No teens activities, pool duty ans small, super duty old carpet in room, mattress very bad....never going back.

We are currently staying here in one of the kid cabin suites for spring break. The waterpark is ok and the kids are enjoying it........but...... The amount of noise we had to endure last night from the people above us was incredible. I don't know if they were moving furniture all night or hosting a wrestling match, but the thuds, bangs, and constant noise is absolutely ridiculous. We can even sometimes feel our own floor shake with whatever they're doing. We notified the front desk several times last night with no avail. This is our second time here, but there will not be a third.
