Very clean , but the smell of bleach was fairly intense in the room. Great location and associated location for the music festival was perfect. Room was somewhat dated but comfortable. No refrigerator in the room, which was unexpected. Price was high for a Monday but it was tourist season. Enjoyed it, overall! Great Lake cruise!

My wife and I stayed here for a couple days just to get a change of scenery as we live fairly close by. Stayed in the preferred area on the second floor lake side. Almost an unblocked beautiful view of the lake. They were busy but it was very quiet and we were thankfully in an unconnected room (which not every hotel has). Overall a really mellow experience on a busy weekend though there were definitely party areas very close by. Everything in the town is walking distance and the boat rides etc are only a two minute walk away. Just the two of us but lots of kids (still quiet) and lots of international guests which gave it a nice vibe. We will be back for sure.

We live just 40 minutes from Lake George and always drove right past the Fort William Henry Hotel, not paying it much attention. Well, were we missing out! The place is FAR BETTER and more sophisticated, spacious and lovely than I ever imagined. First, the grounds are exquisite. There is a beautiful, spacious veranda with comfortable Adirondack chairs and chaise lounges to look over the grounds, pool and lake. The lawn is large enough for families to toss a ball around as well as take advantage of additional ADK chairs grouped around the grounds. Plus, there are about 5-7 firepits that can be reserved ($15 per person). Also, there is a LARGE pool and hot tub (we didn't use them, but we will next time!). And off the bar area, a "high top" fire pit with about 12 chairs surrounding it. We had a king-size bedroom overlooking the lake. It had a small sectional sofa and small fridge. Lovely. The front desk staff is like dealing with family. They are all very friendly, accommodating and professional. The location is also ideal. Just walk down the path toward the lake and you have access to all of Lake George's stores and fun ferry boats. All in all, a fantastic place! We will be back!!

Had a great family vacation weekend stay in Lake George at the Fort William Henry Hotel. The overall experience was great. The entire staff were ever helpful, and welcoming. The room was very clean and the grounds and amenities as well.

Nous logions dans l’aile du côté est en basse saison. Nous avons été agréablement surpris de l’état des installations, plus près d’un 3 étoiles. De plus, la préposée à l’accueil nous a assigné une chambre du côté lac alors que nous avions une réservation du côté montagne.

My daughter and I have visited Lake George for the last 10 years. FWH is our only choice to stay at. We stay in a room on the 5th (top) floor with a beautiful view of the lake. Watching the morning sunrise over the lake from our room, can’t be beat. Staff are the best! Always helpful and accommodating. Wish I could name all of them but a few to mention are Merissa, Lynsey, Katie, Isabella, Brian, Marie, Tisha, Lori (hskp) and actually all that we come in contact with. We return to FWH each year not only for the location but for the excellence of unbeatable consistency of the staff we come in contact with.

Perfect trip. Hotel perfectly located to town, restaurants, bars and the lake. This was the second time I stayed on the property. I’ve stayed in both the hotel and motel both are equally nice!!!
