We stayed in Lake George for an off season get away from the city. As usual the comfort inn was welcoming and warm. It has everything you want for a short stay. Just one little comment was the room seemed clean as we entered but after moving some stuff around we found a used cup beside the bed and what seemed to be crackers under the pouf. Again the room was clean just not super clean.

This poor hotel, it's just old and showing her age. The room was dingy and we had to do some cleaning when we arrived. We were reserved to have a large family room that was also handicap accessible room but that's not what we were put in. The pool was closed the first few days. The front desk staff one morning was rude and threatening to my husband.

We went off season in Winter. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Only odd thing, there was no bureau in the room. Would have been nice to have drawers to put away small items that don’t go in a closet.

The people who work there were all really polite and friendly. Our room was clean and pretty spacious and I like that there was a little counter with a coffee machine and fridge. The breakfast was much better than I expected. They had hot eggs and hot sausage and hot home fries and then they had two stations that you could make fresh waffles and they had some random pastries and yogurt and cereal and stuff as well. Parking was easy and they have an overhang and luggage carts which is perfect for people like us who overpack.
