Fox Run at Lake Lure

Wonderful location. We had a great visit.

The place is clean, I was supplied with what we needed for our stay and kitchen is fully equipped, it’s a golf course, very pleasant, and it’s gated there is security lots of places to walk there is a waterfall near by I travel with family, my children went on walks early morning to the waterfall near by and chilled by the fireplace at night, has a chimney it’s very nice at night, works great, there is a small laundry area, there is 3 levels master is comfortable size and has its own bathroom. Overall was a great experience. It’s at the top of the mountain, and does have all the dining options and shops at the bottom. Groceries near by as well. Check out it’s at 10am, has balconies to seat and relax sip coffee, hot cocoa, lovely weather too, oh we even spotted a bear so yes! There are bears roaming the property, for us that was a plus.

We had a fantastic stay with family. Property is well maintained and really good for family.

We liked that our unit was free standing and separate from other units. The bathrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable.

We overall had a nice stay. We were pleasantly surprised. I wasn't aware from the listing that we'd be staying at a resort in someone's time share. The image pictured was not accurate for our location. We were essentially on the end of a quadruplex building. The views were phenomenal from our unit. We were towards the front of the resort and had full access to the amenities. It was a tri-level building which should be noted for families with young children or anyone with accessibility issues. We unfortunately did encounter a few dead cockroaches during our stay near the sliding doors. We were provided with everything we needed for our stay though. Lots of blankets, pillows, kitchenware, paper products, etc. The beds were comfortable and we had lots of room. Even enjoyed the recliners in the living room.

Our stay at Fox Run was amazing. Our unit was spacious and had all the amenities. Our view of Lake Lure and the mountains was outstanding!

Everything was outstanding, I have no complaints nor suggestions for improvement.

This property has a wonderful view of the mountains and lake. We enjoyed our quiet and comfortable stay here. A black bear was enjoying the acorns regularly outside our unit. We enjoyed watching him/her.
