I had the misfortune to stay one night (2/22/24) at this hotel. Upon check-in I confirmed the rate, but when I checked out the rate was ~$50 higher. Spoke with the hotel and spoke with Marriott Rewards folks (I am a "Lifetime Ambassador Elite" level member). Neither of them would make the refund. They went so far as to say they "can't" adjust the rate - another lie. Other Marriott hotels "can" and "do" correct this kind of error. The hotel said the desk clerk didn't have the authority to adjust the rate. Marriott corporate said they didn't have the ability to force the hotel to correct their mistake. Marriott Rewards keeps telling me how "important" and "valued" I am, but that didn't seem to make a difference. According to Marriott Rewards I have had a total of over 3,200 night stays (that's not a typo - it comes from my Marriott Rewards account lifetime statistics from their website) since I enrolled in the Rewards program. I am re-evaluating my Marriott loyalty. It may be time to switch to Hilton.
