The Terrace Hotel Lakeland, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Nice room (single King), beautiful historic building/grounds that has been meticulously maintained and great location in the heart of Downtown Lakeland. Didn’t have a microwave which was odd but otherwise a good stay and friendly service.

We loved the location and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The historic charm is part of what brought us back, and we’ve enjoyed previous stays here. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing in several ways. While we were in the room, there was painting being done nearby, and the fumes were extremely strong. When we called the front desk, we were initially told no painting was occurring, only to later return and find wet paint signs posted. We also had maintenance issues in the room, including a toilet paper holder that was not attached to the wall and a shower that took over 20 minutes to even get warm. We understand this is a historic building, but we did not experience these kinds of issues during prior stays. Additionally, the dining room appeared to have only one server working. She was absolutely wonderful and did her best, but it was clear she was stretched too thin to provide attentive service to all guests. Overall, we still appreciate the character and location of the hotel, but this stay fell short of the experience we were expecting based on our past visits.

Insanely loud surroundings and bed was hard as a rock, impossible to sleep if you are anywhere near the parking garage. Suggest they invest in new windows but they must know that and actual beds a human being wants to sleep in

It was OK. There isn't a pool. I had to call the front desk since the bathroom bottles of body wash and shampoo were almost out the day we checked in. We had paid for breakfast too, as part of the reservation and there is certainly a disconnect with the dining area and the reservations team. They tried to charge us for something we had already paid for, frustrating when we paid $250 a night. We stayed 3 nights.

Nicely remodeled, classic old hotel. Very nice staff. The restaurant was quite good.

Excellent as always. Kind, courteous, and friendly staff. The renovated rooms look great. We had stayed at Room 909 before the renovation and it was quite amazing then and even better now. A plus to have the Terrace Grill Restaurant on premise. Highly recommend.

Clean room, but Clorox smell was so strong! The room was the smallest I stayed at, including cheap motels. The shower was so narrow! The shower head, tiny. Nasty flush button. Mattress not so comfortable (might be old) noise?! From the 7th floor you can hear everything happening in the streets and in the building, Including employees talking in the hallway around 8 am. Really nice ladies wellcome us at checking in and out. Beautiful lobby, excellent restaurant. Great location…value? Only the lobby and the mentioned restaurant are worthy of the e price you pay, so no, I wouldn’t recommend it.

This was my second stay here. Overall very enjoyable stay with clean rooms and comfortable beds. Amazingly friendly staff, special thanks to Owen for helping me extend my stay. Perfect location, walkable to everything- bars, restaurants, walk around the lake, and really nice Farmers Market on Saturdays. Looking forward to returning to Lakeland Terrace in the future.
