Welcoming host - helpful, good humour. Rooms were clean, beds comfy and all required amenities included. Nice fresh breakfast - scrambled eggs and other cooked options, fresh fruit salad, bircher muesli etc. Perfect base for exploring the fells. Excellent value. Would definitely return. Thanks Andy!

We had a great stay here (it's my second time!) - the owner has a brilliant manner for hosting and makes excellent breakfast. Rooms are clean and comfortable and I was very happy to get into bed after a day out walking or swimming. The location is amazing, especially if you are using buses to get around as it is less than a minute's walk. All the shops, restaurants and cinema are also within a few minutes walk and the owner Andy gave me lots of tips and recommendations.

Great room with everything I needed and even more Good breakfast Best location, near the bus station and 2-3 min walk from restaurants and Tesco. And they have so many maps you can borrow and books with recommended walks. Would stay again! Thank you

Andy, brilliant host. A homely property with all you could need with a lovely breakfast, full English and other options available, healthy or not, your choice. Fantastic location close to everything. Two minute dander to town for shops, restaurants and bars etc. We will certainly look to book Cambridge Villas if returning to Ambleside. Very highly recommended by all four of us. Many thanks Andy, we had a fabulous break.

We enjoyed our short stay. Owner was very kind. Rooms were neat and clean with comfortable beds and a nice small television. Breakfast was served in very friendly manner and was excellent.Accommodation is in centre of city . will definitely come back again.

I enjoyed my stay here very much! It is in a fantastic location, minutes by foot from the center of town. The daily breakfast was wonderful and so tasty. The service was also top notch and they were so lovely and friendly. I would highly recommend this B&B

Excellent, friendly welcome, such a lovely couple at 3 Cambridge Villa who made our stay thoroughly enjoyable, we will definitely stay here when back next year. The breakfast was exactly as requested and plentiful. We honestly couldn't fault our stay at all.

Lovely place to stay, in the town of Ambleside, close to shops etc,, very happy , will be booking again in the near future , breakfast was nice, very friendly hosts Andy and Ann,, couldn’t fault our stay, excellent
