Weird smell in room ..ants all over the dresser ..no parking cost 15 a day for parking but nowhere to park ..38 a person a day to even get back to where the hotel was so a extra 400 for all fees ..tryed to over charge at hotel and fee gates smh never will go back

It accommodated our large famuily with a day bed, trundle and 2 other beds just fine. The $25 voucher was a treat!

Room had a strong mildew smell. When sharing my concern with the front desk, they admitted to having 3 other complaints with the same issue that day. It’s been an issue with first floor rooms. The manager said there’s nothing that can be done as the 1st floor rooms are half under ground. Toilet seat was about to fall off, super loose. Room was very outdated. Breakfast is not on site, they give you a voucher to bring to an off site restaurant, max $25 for the family. We ended up checking out as all other rooms were booked. Hotel apologized and refunded in full.

Although our room was clean it was very outdated. You must pay a fee to enter Lakeside - we paid $95, $40 for the two of us and $15 for our car to enter. Parking was a nightmare, the hotel only has a few parking spots and finding a place to park was exhausting. We had another reservation set for August which I have cancelled - booked an Airbnb instead which has ample parking, no Lakeside entry fees and updated living spaces.

Upon checking in, we encountered some issues. Ted was very kind and compassionate and resolved our issue in a kind and professional and timely manner. He is an asset to your establishment. The room was clean, but the bathroom was quite small. Not enough counter space and 1 little bottle of shampoo and conditioner is not enough product for 2 people. Thank you.

I was a little concerned when I read the reviews, however, the rooms were very clean. We stayed in a split room one king and 2 twin beds the only downside was the bathroom was very small and took forever for the water to heat up. Free breakfast at hotel lakeside scrambled eggs, pancakes, tator tots, turkey sausage (which was very good) cereal and fruit. Everyone was very friendly. The only thing I did not like was the parking. Our hotel had about 10 open parking spots. We stayed 3 nights and only one night could we find a spot to park. Had to park in a small church parking lot one night and the last night had to park in a field and walk a few blocks back to the hotel. A lot of the parking spots were reserved which made it very difficult to find a place to park.

The Fountain Inn has a great location very close to all the main activity and shopping venues in Lakeside. Lobby is inviting and a nice place for a short break to enjoy a cool glass of water - it was HOT the week we were there! There is access from the lobby to to the adjacent restaurant which was convenient. Rooms were comfy. The bathrooms in the ‘shower only’ rooms are a little cramped, but certainly functional. The ‘tub/shower’ rooms were more spacious all around, and worked for our toddler grands and their parents. There’s a shuttle stop right outside the front door, so parking in the South lot is not an issue after easily unloading the luggage adjacent to the entrance. Would certainly recommend as a convenient and comfortable place to stay when visiting Lakeside!

Soooo many negative reviews about the Fountain Inn! It's actually pretty nice. Yes, it is dated, and the carpet needs to be replaced, but if you can get over that, you'll have a good time. We stayed in a two bed corner unit. Lots of natural light. The AC was on when we arrived. The room had recently been painted. The room was small, but big enough for three people. It was also clean. The shower could be re-grouted, but that's a small thing. The TV and Internet worked fine. Breakfast was served at the Lakeside Hotel, a black away. It was good. The staff was helpful and friendly. If you are expecting something NEW, you are going to be disappointed. This is not the Hilton or the Marriot, either. it's an older hotel, and it shows its age. But we had a great time, and we will return in the future.
