BUYER BEWARE. I paid for two nights in advance a month and a half ago. Showed up after driving 6+ hours to be told the resort was closed. No phone call, no email, nothing. After wasting all that time and money to get out there, the only response was "sorry about that". Unprofessionaland unacceptable.

We needed to cancel our stay at this resort. We called several times and left quite a few E-mails. No one seems to answer the phone or return calls left on their machine or return Emails. The person who runs the place still ran our card and then disputed all charges and lied about correspondence. These people are crooked. Stay away! Keep your credit cards safe and sleep in your car instead.

I booked at this hotel and then saw several bad reviews so I called to cancel since I had free cancelation up to 24hrs before my stay. I called 3 times no one answered or responded to my voicemail. Then I emailed them 3 times asking them to cancel my reservation. They never did and tried to charge my card anyways.. i had to lock my card. But they put it down as a repeating charge so when I unlocked my card .it went through anyways. This business is super shady and I will never recommend this place to anyone and tell people to avoid it at all costs

I’ve never been bitten by bed bugs til my stay at hunters where apparently they don’t care much about it…when I came to the front desk some burn out told me I probably brought them in with me..this place is dirty..dog fur in bedding

Don’t let the outside deter you as it’s under construction. They are working hard to remodel and we were pleasantly surprised with the inside. The room was completely updated, super clean and comfortable. Loved the retro appliances and all the cute details. Grabbed a drink at the bar, and went in the hot spring pool. Staff was super friendly and accommodating, thanks Sam! Looking forward to staying again and seeing all the future improvements.

No reviews for many years. Maybe at one time it was good but after a confirmed reservation, I arrived and was told that the hotel was closed for renovations, bar and restaurant closed. So I left and was surprised to see my account debited. I've been fighting for a month to get my money back. To avoid…

The owners have clearly put a lot of time, attention and dedication into making this historical hot springs a comfortable and welcoming place to stay! I highly recommend. Plus, the food is phenomenal!

Ok...it seems there are new rooms. The old ones have countless dirty, broken, and missing features. Before checking in, have a good look at what you are getting. Check for hot water, working heat and TV. Good luck!

We came into town tired 🥱 and the other hotels were booked for the night. But they did say to try Hunter’s Hot Spring Lodge. What a hidden 💎 Gem! They are undergoing renovation and it does not look like much from the street but the new rooms are very nice. They are working on the bar too but it is open and fully stocked. The food 🥘 is the bomb 💣 I had the Wild 😜 mushroom 🍄 pasta 🍝.
