Lakeway Resort and Spa

The location, view and spa services were great!  However,  the room had an AC that would continually drip into the sink due to a build up of condensation and there were no streaming services.  Overall, the hotel could use updates in the aesthetics and upkeep of the hotel in the rooms and dining area.  Seems a little stuck in time.  We expected more from a resort.

The service was very professional by all Staff. The facilities were really nice and clean and well maintained. Food was really good and served timely. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with great Staff.

Very peaceful, relaxing resort tucked away overlooking Lake Travis. Elvis was very hospitable and eager to share all of the amenities availability.

We had a great experience staying at Lakeway Resort over the Fourth of July weekend. The location is beautiful, with incredible views overlooking Lake Travis, and the resort handled the holiday crowds really well. The staff truly made our stay. Joy at check-in was so kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, and her customer service really stood out. Elvis, Nimh, and Victor at bell service were also fantastic. They helped us with our luggage, gave us rides around the property on the golf carts, and were always friendly and accommodating. The resort itself has plenty of staff throughout the property, so we never had trouble finding someone to help. The main pool is huge, and the adults-only pool is also spacious, making it easy to relax even during a busy holiday weekend. The only downside was that the rooms are definitely showing their age. The furniture had stains and tears, the door appeared to be rippling from wear, and the bathroom felt quite small. I also wish the room had been dusted a bit more thoroughly before our arrival. The resort would really benefit from a renovation to match the quality of the location and service. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and felt it was a great value for the price. The outstanding staff, beautiful setting, and excellent pool areas made for a memorable Fourth of July weekend. With updated rooms, this resort would be exceptional

Great experience at the Lakeway resort and spa! Elvis is the best of the best great people skills always saying hi and helping others out!

The location is advertised as a really nice property but in reality the property needs updating. I was there for a wedding and my room plus friends rooms smelled musky and moldy!! The place seems run down. I did speak with the front desk staff about the smell with no resolve. The balcony was dirty, bathroom was TINY and the water wouldnt stay hot at all it kept fluctuating from cold to hot on its own! The bed was not comfortable at all- it felt like I was lying on pallets. This price point I have stayed at MUCH nicer places. I asked the front desk staff for directions to the only wedding on the property that day and they had no clue where to direct me. I will say the nicest staff member was Elvis! He was friendly, helpful, respectful and overall a good person. He didnt know where the wedding was but gave us a ride to where he saw folks setting up and he was right . The pool was small and they had people eating out of pizza boxes in the pool, we literally had pepperoni and beer cans floating around the pool it was annoying for an adults only pool! Kids pool was cleaner Drinks were not good either- Overall, the price was not worth what was. I wouldnt go back.
