Disgusting hotel with rude manager and staff! Never coming here again! Place was filthy, loud, smelly and just down and out rubbish. Not worth the money whats so ever. I think they need a revamp with the staff. Does no one know how to clean? Obviously not.

Went to Lampeter to pick something up with a friend. Called in royal Oak tea room for coffee. Big mistake. Asked for cappuccino which was not available for some reason. We then asked for tea cake. Again not available Settled for tea and scone Tea was drinkable but scone tasted stale and was hard as rock Tried to eat it but it was horrible Think it had been there for days. Charged £10 for tea and scones which we could not eat. The place was empty and no wonder. Awful

This so not the place to have a meal, we ordered the Falafel, 2 x sirloin steaks, pizza & chicken goujons and drinks. For some reason the steaks arrived on 1 plate! With 1 steak knife! The pizza was the best thing, the chicken goujons were very greasy and the Falafel came as a carbohydrate overload. It was Falafel, couscous and flatbread. When we asked for an extra plate we were given a bit of a look. I think they were expecting us to eat off 1 plate. Not only that, but the steaks were soo grizzly and tough to eat On top of all this, the NOISE!! was phenomenal! I understand that the rugby was on the TV but once it finished it was like a shift change. It just got worse. Headache is still with us all today. Sorry cannot recommend it...

A very welcoming pub with rooms. Very good value. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided in the room with a kettle. We had a smallish room at the back of the hotel, with a good shower. The pub offers some meals. No parking however we arrived on Saturday night and were able to park in the street until Monday morning. The clientele were noisy til closing time.

Went Monday to Thursday the video futage says as lot had to asked for toilet paper and coffee only to be told there is no coffee. No breakfast even at £70 per night room not cleaned at any point and the place is well a home for 2 ************ and teenagers who don't know customer service. No management around and no one to care when service did not meet basic hygiene or b and b standards.

Stayed one night. Clean room, friendly staff. Had evening meal which was good. There is certainly some difficulty with parking, which when you're transporting important equipment is rather concerning. At the end of the day it is basically a pub with rooms, and at £70 and not having a breakfast is on the pricey side.

We were visiting an old friend who lives nearby and recommended this hotel for lunch. The menu is basic but the ingredients were plentiful and good quality. Lunch for four with drinks came to just over £20, representing the best value meal of any of our trips.
