Best Western Lamphey Court Hotel

The hotel could do with an update. My room was basic but clean. The water system took ages to stop making a noise after the room next door used it. There was also a lot of doors banging .

The hotel is a wonderful piece of your history and heritage, on arrival there was an excellent service on which we found out we had been upgraded to the superior room due to our wonderful daughters informing the hotel that it was your anniversary.We were thrilled,however on entry of the room it was certainly not in your opinion a superior the room needed a good lick of paint and there was rust marks all in the bottom of the bath, in fairness the room was fairly clean but by far not spotless!! We decided to use the spa soon after unpacking,on arrival to the spa reception the lady who was on duty also very helpful and we were impressed, the changing rooms which were of good quality too,the low music and the a**osphere was so relaxed we thought we were in for a lovely few hours and couldn't wait to use the facilities, right this is really where the let down begins the hot tub was leakwarm and the jets were also very worn and rusty there was also rust in the bottom of the tub but what was worst was the smell of drains coming from this area!!! Skip the sauna and steam rooms which are exactly like all the other reviews if the one is working the other isn't!!! We then went to use the main pool which was uncomfortably cold and that's being generous!! We were there less than 10 minutes totally unacceptable, this is most definitely letting the hotel down time and time again!! The visitors to the gym seems very popular with members however, right negative comments over although very honest and truthful.The food was absolutely spot on breakfast excellent and the meals we had on the Friday night was absolutely fantastic!! Every member of staff was professional and friendly, you really need to sort out the spa it is honestly letting you down xx

Food poor and service below expectations. Various problems within the bedroom which had to be attended to e.g. no hot water Dogs not welcomed just put up with but they still charge £10 a night. Spa tired and cold first thing in the morning. Tennis courts have seen better days. Nice view if in the right room ours over looked a car park. Quiet area. Over priced for what is offered especially food and drink.

Just returned from a night away from this lovely hotel in peaceful surroundings. All staff we encountered were friendly and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. We booked a family room for three adults last minute and were surprised by the spacious coach house room. My husband wanted to bring the mattress home with him it was so comfy. My daughter and I used the spa twice which was really enjoyable and not at all crowded. Breakfast was served in a lovely light room and plenty of selection was on offer including some freshly cooked items should you have wanted it. Definitely deserves to be given at least an 8 .5 on trip advisor in my personal opinion.

Lovely staff and a**osphere, this was our 4th time visiting and it is our go to place to just switch off and relax.

We arrived to a friendly reception and told we had been given a free room upgrade. We were stiff from lots of walking so did struggle up lotos of stairs and passageways to our room. Dinner was nice but we did not have breakfast there. We also used the pool, jacuzzi and steam room which were great, though children carried on using them beyond the 6pm cut off point

Lovely hotel with a grand entrance . Beautifull decor inside with a separate lounge and two other areas for breakfast and dinner. very friendly staff,who allowed us to check in early after a six hour journey.room was beautiful and comfortable,met some friendly locals, who recomended some places to visit. Cooked breakfast was very good and plenty of choice of continental.we had dinner on the evening of my birthday,the the food was very good,the a**osphere was great.the evening staff were very friendly and welcoming. we had a great time, a perfect place for relaxing and some peace and quiet.

Love the hotel the staff were fantastic very clean beautiful grounds lovely pool just as I was on the west wing I think ..the noise from the ventilation or what ever it was kept me from having a good sleep .. and the breakfast was bearly cooked no colour on the sausage or bacon practically cold beans served in a cold pot on a cold plate..

Hotel and parking very good. Just the service at breakfast let it down. Selection great just very slow to take orders and arrive at table.
