Palazzo Greco Villas

My best traveling friend and I stayed at Palazzo Greco Villa for only one night (July 15) on our way to Elounda. What a beautiful surprise! The villas are on top of a hill with a beautiful panoramic view. We were greeted by Stefania the owner and Marta. Both of them, lovely ladies. Then Marta escorted us to our villa - Villa Jasmine, a one bedroom villa on 2 levels with shared pool with the villa adjacent to ours. We hardly saw our neighbors. The villa is well-designed with plenty of space and wonderfully equiped and maintained (iron, iron board, dental kit...). The following day (the day of our departure) we had a lovely homemade breakfast served by Maria, a wonderful lady with amazing eyes, and Stefania. We had scrambled eggs with chives, then a salad with tomatoes, cucumber, nuts, raisins and smoke meat. A pita filled with cheese and topped with honey Then we had cottage cheese sprinkled with prunes. We also had fruits and a homemade chocolate cake. This breakfast was amazing. When cheking out, Maria and Stefania gave us oregano and a little jar of homemade cherries in syrup. Our stay was short but we are already planning to come next year for a couple of relaxing days at Palazzo Villa Greco. If you don't like silence and nothing around, this place is not for you. Otherwise, you are just in paradise.

Perfect place for cozy family stay. Clean, convenient, great room service and reception people. All needed amenities for comfortable stay. Awesome views and good location to visit places of interest.

A real 5 star exclusive, private villa experience at a hotel price. Despite unseasonal gale force warm winds cascading down the mountain during our stay, the view down across to the Agia Galini bay and the islands is sublime. Great welcome from friendly staff, book their brilliant breakfast buffet. Beware that each villa block shares a pool, it is not private for you as stated in the booking facilities notes. You feel you are invading space as each pool is directly in front of one of the two villas in each block. The management should make this clear when you book as you assume incorrectly the pool is private for you. It is shared. Not quite the same experience.

A bit on expensive side. They could have included breakfast in the price. Also it is confusing where to enter the hotel. No sign anywhere.

Very peaceful and great location, great views and just very relaxing to sit and look at the view. Villas are very spacious, second floor is not really needed, older style fittings but comfortable. We had bedroom on ground floor which is better than some villas that have bedroom on higher floor. Aircon worked well. The welcome snack and raki as well as gift on leaving was a nice touch. Staff are very friendly and we were able to check in a bit early on arrival. There was dinner or snacks or wine available if one wanted. We didn’t have the breakfast but it looked good too and in a nice setting. You need a car for hotel but it’s only a five minute drive from the beach and restaurant area. The driveway is perfectly manageable we were concerned as some said it’s very steep but it’s not bad at all. We did not use the pool but the pool was next to the next door’s villa so if not using pool better to choose a villa without the pool so that privacy is not compromised having others swim in front of your villa. It was very private and quiet. Shower was hot. Only downside was bed was very hard.
