Stayed at JamboHouse for 3 nights. Was picked up at the airport which made it super easy to catch a boat to Lamu! Greeted by Arnold who told me in detail about the range of tours, restaurants and areas to visit on Lamu which was very useful! The rooms were basic but clean with a safe box and two fans. Very comfortable to stay in and great location if you want to stay in Old town Lamu :) the outdoor seating area was lovely and clean Breakfast was great with juice, fruit, tea, coffee and a variety of eggs and toast. Went on the sunset walk with Zion the guide and it was lovely! Tried some coconut wine at the locals bar in the village on the way to the sand dunes and saw a lovely sunset. Would recommend to friends and family

Jambo house was amaizing! Arnold is a great host he will give you all the information you need to move trought the intricate streets of Lamu. Arnold is an easygoing person and available to answer all your questions, he can organize boat tours as well. Lamu it's a hot and humid place but Jambo house has everything you need to feel confortable. Very suggested stay to live Lamu like a local!

Amazing place to stay in Lamu! The rooms are big and very clean, the public sitting areas are beautiful and perfect to enjoy the cool breeze at the evening overlooking the town. The breakfast ist superb and sufficient - every day fresh fruits, juices and pancakes or omeletts. All the things worth seeing in Lamu as well as all the shops are in walking distance. For me most importanly: I really loved the spirit of this place! The best of all is the Host - he helps amazingly friendly with everything: booking trips, explaining ways to go to the beaches and information over the prises, pcr tests, booking flights, exchanging money, just everything! He organises free of cost pick up from the airport. He also gives a lot of useful information over all the good and important restaurants and cafes in Lamu with tips where they serve alcohol and where you can enjoy a vegetarian meal.
