New Lanark Mill Hotel

We were completely exhausted when we checked in and delighted to find a comfy bed with lovely views over the river. We rested for a while and then went to the spa. The pool was just the right temperature as was the sauna and steam room. It was very relaxing. We enjoyed a great meal it was very tasty and served quickly. I'm vegan and gluten free and the choice for me was excellent. We then strolled around outside for a while catching the setting sun. The scenery was gorgeous. We slept really well and again enjoyed the spa facilities before a hearty breakfast and checked put completely refreshed at 11am the next day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you New Lanark Mill Hotel.

Fab stay, great nights sleep, staff lovely and helpful. The leisure area was lovely too. Will book again when working in the area.

After receiving the voucher as a raffle win, the staff at reception made booking easy all instructions were clear and what an amazing night we had, the sun shone, the food was amazing and drinks were delicious only thing missing was a beer garden!!! What an amazing prize to have given out to support a great cause and what an amazing prize to receive.

Beautiful historic buildings preserved and put to good use. Mixing the past with the present day. Loved every minute of our stay.

A lovely hotel on a heritage site . The staff really make your stay feel comfortable and welcoming and the food is great quality. My suggestions for improvement would be to consider discounts for hotel guests for the museum and cafe / on site. Whilst the shop had a discount for guests , it wasn’t mentioned at the till so wasn’t seen until after I’d paid. I’d also like to see a fridge/ mini bar in the room. Continental breakfast had fewer choices than I would have expected, but was still very good . Cooked breakfast was excellent. Would recommend staying here for a short break as plenty to do on site, from the walk to the falls, the museum, cafe and the hotel spa/ leisure suite. I think the hotel is nice, but to elevate it to a 5 out of 5 it needs a little extra something. For example - consider a coffee machine in the rooms, a wider range of teas/ coffees and some complementary vanity sets in the bathroom. Otherwise, bed was good quality and furnishings were well maintained and in good condition.

I would stay here again the setting was lovely and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. It’s not well sign posted so sat nav didn’t find it but luckily my friend had been before but overall a positive experience.

Never been to this hotel before but our friends recommended it and I would have to say I would definitely go back. Nice and historic setting, lovely grounds, nice room too. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The food was good quality too.

I had previously visited for work a few weeks earlier and had booked one night here for myself and my partner as a stopover knowing I'd have the opportunity to cancel. Its the latter stay that I'm reviewing but both stays were fantastic. The location is beautiful - our room looked out onto the river and I could have looked out of the window for hours watching the river and the wildlife. The whole site is very interesting and there is a lot to walk round and see. Check in was straightforward and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable with a large bathroom with a great shower. We didn't dine at the hotel as the options for vegetarians were limited. The breakfast was nice - hot options were fresh and delicious. We booked in at 9:15am and many of the pastries and cold options had not been replenished so there were not a lot of cold options available. However what was there was nice and fresh. Parking was easy and there were plenty of spaces. Theres a lift to all floors in reception, but we used the stairs when we didn't have the suitcases. The overall decor and style of the hotel was really nice - smart but not uncomfortable to be in relaxed clothing. We walked the Falls of Clyde in the evening; this starts a few minutes walk from the hotel with Dundaff Linn waterfall. I would strongly suggest the 10-15 minute walk to Corra Linn as well. A lovely way to spend the evening. Probably one of my favourite hotels and locations I've ever stayed in.

Had a lovely night away with my daughter for her birthday. Dinner, bed & breakfast deal is such good value for money. Food at dinner and breakfast was first class! Lovely clean room with amazing views, had a problem with our keycard and was fixed at reception no problem. Swimming facilities were pristine, can’t wait to return.
