When I checked in, I found that the safety lock had no chain, and there were uncleaned fructose bags on the table and bedside table. It was obvious that the hotel had been checked in without cleaning. Since I was too sleepy after ten o'clock in the evening, I reluctantly accepted and stayed. After reporting it to the hotel, the hotel did not apologize at all, but instead blamed me for not bringing it up when I checked in.

Service was really good. On arrival we were told to have an upgraded room with a view of the Lancaster castle. Staff were very friendly. Location was absolutely central and convenient for shopping, restaurants and the train station.
