Where do I even start? If you’re looking for a Covid friendly hotel STAY AWAY!! According to Choice hotels Covid precautions on their website, this place fails horribly! No staff was seen to be wearing a mask, NONE! Not once did we see anybody sanitizing anything! Now onto the room itself. Please keep in mind our room slept 4 and we had 4 in our stay (2 adults/2 kids). 1. Had to ring multiple times for toilet paper and didn’t receive any until almost 2200! We checked in at 1500! Excuse: They “ran out & having to go borrow some.” 2. 3 full size towels, 2 hand towel and 2 washcloths. Forget about asking for more to bathe everyone they’re “out.” 3. The floors are STICKY! After a shower, walked around the room for about an hour barefoot and had to wash my feet off before going to bed because they were black & filthy & just felt gross!! 4. You get a pick of either Highway side with noise & a parking lot party all night OR a pool view with loud inappropriate rap music blaring with a max pool occupancy being ignored & pushed to the extreme!! Needless to say the swim we had planned with 2 small very excited-to-go-swimming kiddos had to be nixed due to none other than SAFETY! 5. For the kitchen that’s supposed to accommodate 4 came with: 1 full size plate, 1 small plate, 1 bowl, 1 full size glass, 2 small juice glasses, 2 coffee cups NO paper towels, NO dish soap for either the sink or dishwasher, NO ice trays & ice maker made NO ice. Keep in mind if you ask for any of these things to accommodate 4 you’ll hear “we’re out.” The burners and backsplash were down right disgustingly filthy 6. The sofa was a joke! You sit down & fall in! 7. You get a whopping 2 USB charging ports so bring your cube OR be prepared to charge your electronics only in the bedroom. 8. Cleaning is done by the lick & prayer method. Again, not COVID friendly!!!! Pro’s? The breakfast charge Sissy is a diamond star asset to this establishment! What a beautiful cheerful soul to be greeted by in the morning She will make sure you have what you need to get up & running. That’s it. No other Pro. For $200, my expectations were reasonably higher than the barely Motel 6 experience we had. Will not stay here again while visiting my husband when he’s working in Dallas or recommend this as a quality, worth the $$$, place to enjoy some time away.
