It's a very cozy place, the front desk is very friendly, and the overall environment is very comfortable! There is a kitchen and dining area! The greening is very good, there are plants everywhere! It feels more like home here. The room is very small and is really only used for sleeping. You have to go to the dining area to boil hot water and eat because there is no kettle or table in the room! You can borrow a hair dryer from the laundry room! A simple breakfast is provided in the morning, toast, cereal, milk, coffee, tea, juice, simple but satisfying, continue the journey when you are full! We booked two rooms, one with big windows and beautiful garden views, the other with just a small tall window! The overall experience is okay, check in checkout is simple and fast, the service is very friendly, and other guests are also very friendly!
Tips for driving friends:
If we use Google Maps to drive to the B&B, our Google shows that it takes one hour to drive from Bendigo to the hotel, but in the end it takes more than an hour and a half. Because it is completely dark at night and there are no street lights, but there are many big kangaroos, so we can’t follow the Google prompts. 100, we drove about 70 for half of the way. On the way, we also saw the corpses of three kangaroos that were larger than humans, and there was also a kangaroo chasing our car! So don't drive too fast!

Wonderful interior of old building tasteful decor and friendly staff. Maybe next upgrade could be the mattresses now that everything else is freshened up and beautifully presented.

Lovely old building with decor and furniture to match that’s looking a little tired. Rooms have beautiful high ceilings but this meant the room was pretty cold and took a few hours to heat. Our room at the front had the tiniest ensuite I’ve ever used. Breakfast was the basics, great to have included. Fine for a one night stay, perfect location to walk to the high street.

What a find! Had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. Loved the little touches that were provided, along with a comfortable and homely room. Loved the art work prints, and the gorgeous antiques. The owners, Peter and Kate are friendly, approachable, and welcoming. We will be back.

I was contacted the day before my stay, and provided with the details relevant to my booking. Kate was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean, comfortable and cool (it was a hot weekend!) Also, as I was only staying overnight, I really appreciated that I could check in and out, independently at times that suited me.
