Booked this hotel by luck!! Lucky we booked it, was fantastic from the arrival to the departure. Mandy, Trevor, Maureen, Paul, Lynette (chef) and all the staff were perfect. Rooms, food, decor etc etc all beautiful. Attention to detail spot on. I recommend this 100%

Wonderful welcome to a wonderful hotel. All the staff are friendly and helpful but Mandy and Trevor go the extra mile to ensure a perfect stay. And Trevor went even extra miles to take us in his London taxi for a great wine tasting. The bedroom was large and clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. My lamb chops were cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back.

Each of the bespoke rooms is named after a local wine farm, and the level of service offered by the owner operator couple and their team of hospitality staff is outstanding. The dining experience was exceptional. "Chapeau" Mandy and Trevor Sayer. What a marvellous addition to Robertson hospitality.

Well done Mandy;Trevor and staff for an unbelievable; awesome great; fantastic stay and experience we had at the GRAND HOTEL. From the moment we arrivec we were treated like ROYAL. On a cold winters day we were spoilt at our arrival with an Arabella Melot. That was just the beginning of many more great extras to follow. Our arabella room was out of this world; with the highlight, the fireplace. The attention to detail was awesome; dinner and breakfast top class. Our trip ended with a london cab taxi; courtesy of our taxi driver Trevor ; to kleinhoekkloof wine estate- where our lunch and tasting was out of this world; with the winery nestled deep in the mountain TOP MARKS for you; i will recommend anybody to stay here. This is a gem of an hotel, recently renovated and beautiful in every respect - really tasteful, unostentatious decor. Comfort everywhere, warm and cosy in the cold weather. The team could not do enough for guests and even accommodate unusual meal requests. Fantastic cappuccino and great food - all fresh and delicious. Mandy and her team are really skilled at making people feel welcome and at home. Treat yourself- well worth it!

On arrival we were treated as long-lost favourite family. Every moment of our stay was amazing. From the long hot bath with a blazing fire going, to the gentle music playing while eating a finger licking meal. The friendly tentative operators, to the royal drive in a genuine London cab through town to the world renown Sheilam cactus and succulent farm. Arendsig's captivating winemaker Marius Swart, wine gets 101% in appearance, aroma, taste, body and finish. Hoteliers Trevor and Mandy's tentative eye for perfection made it impossible for us to not lengthen our stay in the friendly Roberson.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and were greeted by Mandy, the owner, and some of her lovely staff. Our room, the honeymoon suite, is beautifuly decorated and attention paid to the smallest of details, such as the exquisite gowns, hot water bottle in our bed at night time, as well as a freshly baked treat next to our bed. Breakfast is a delight and such a treat having it next to the crackling fireplace. We will definitely be back to this charming gem in Robertson.

I just love it when your expectations are exceeded! And it was our experience at the Grand Hotel in Robertson. We can highly recommend the owner run hotel . The staff are well trained and very helpful and friendly. Small attention to detail makes the difference ! Excellent value for money - the food is also of high quality

Warm welcome and most friendly staff. Beautiful and spacious rooms with an awesome view on the garden and pool area. We had the most delicious scons. Definately come back for a night or 2 stay to enjoy the beautiful wine valley. We were there in May as well with our family and had the most delicious lunch. Will definately be back and this time I"m going to try their famous cheesecake.
