OK for the money. My room was clean and freshly decorated. It smelled a bit musty, so I brought an air freshener to mask the smell.
I took a look around the other rooms and the dorms looked like they hadn't been used much for a while. I get the feeling that they are still recovering from the after effects of COVID.
I'd stay there again. Can't complain for the price.

The hotel states that they have 24hr front desk, however that’s not true. They are only available till 8pm. The lady tried to assist but telephonically, she said I should enter but the reception door was locked. There was a huge miscommunication from her side not directing me to enter from the side and not at reception. She then called a lock smith to help open my room but I was already inside as I figured it out on my own. Side note, I’m a woman solo traveller and arrived at 9pm by ferry. I felt unsafe and my battery was low. The locksmith did not knock he just tried to push the door open while I was inside. The woman/owner did not even apologise for anything. I would not recommend this place because of the poor service and the uncleanliness. There were spiderwebs and ants crawling everywhere. They even entered my suitcase when it was open. Should you come to this hotel, make sure to bring your own toilet paper and travel plug. The place is only convenient for easy access to the beach and a one night. Make sure you don’t come late.

the location is quite good not far from the walking area but there are a lot of lizards and spiders everywhere.

The hotel is generally ok, and the stuff are friendly especially Sulaiman, he is really a nice Muslim guy. (There is mosque nearby, if you are not a Muslim it will be annoying for you at 5am)
