Best Star Resort

Best Star Resort is the best place to have a beach view from your room, enjoy breakfast in the cool morning breeze of the sea, night life is also very thrilling and the food and nearby places adds value to your stay..I was thrilled to stay in Langkawi. My family is happy with the stay here and hope that you too will love it.

Great location. Right in front of Best Star Resort, there is a duty-free shop and many convenient places nearby.

The hotel and room are a bit seasoned but still in an acceptable condition for you to enjoy your lovely holidays at Langawi sandy beach which is right in front of the hotel. There was no parking available at the hotel but you can park your car for free at the near by Langgura Baron hotel which is ab 400 m away. Overall, I would say that the room price with amenities & 2 complimentary breakfast was just the best bargain that you can get.

Just nice. Not really nice. Not suitable for relax and leisure to stay here. If you have many activities just stay for sleep only then you can choose here. Bonus this hotel is near with restaurant, attractions place and beside beach. Fireshow also have behind this hote

Honestly at first I was contemplating to book this hotel after reading the negative reviews. But I would say my stay was a good experience. The rooms were spacious, clean & facilities was top notch too. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with variety of foods & was available for vegetarian too. I enjoyed my stay here for 3 Nights & it was perfect. The receptionist counter was helpful too. And I went during school holidays & it was public holiday too. The hotel was fully booked & was maintained well too. Looks like they have improved a lot after the complaints by others. I would highly recommend to stay at this hotel because it's very convenient & middle of everything. Only problem is parking but this is just minor issue, everything else was good. Highly recommended to stay here

We spent a lot of time with our family members. I will never forget these moments in my life. The resources were all good but the AC in the room was very bad.

The room was nice with a beach view glimpse. Fantastic location, right on the beach and really good restaurants in walking distance. Housekeeping is lovely and attentive. Breakfast was OK and i enjoyed freshly cooked omelette. The shower area could do with a screen or handheld showerhead option. The water covers everywhere.

After such a long time away from the beautiful island of Langkawi, I was truly excited for this trip. After reading many online reviews, I decided to stay at Best Star Resort, hoping for a relaxing and memorable experience. Sadly, the reality did not match the expectations. First impression matters — and unfortunately, the hotel lobby was extremely hot upon arrival. The only positive part was that we managed to check in 30 minutes early, which we appreciated very much because we were already exhausted after taking the 7AM ferry, renting a car, driving around the island, and getting caught in the rain. However, once we entered the room, problems immediately started appearing. The room door was in very poor condition and extremely difficult to open. I actually had to walk around searching for housekeeping staff just to help me unlock the door. After finally entering, I noticed there were no towels or even a leg mat provided in the room. Once again, I had to go out and hunt for housekeeping just to get basic necessities. The second day became even more frustrating. There is a restaurant beside the room area, and the noise level early in the morning was unbelievable. The sound of shutters opening, combined with the loud crows outside, completely destroyed our sleep. To make things worse, the window could not even close properly, allowing all the noise to enter the room easily. I cannot speak for other rooms, but based on my experience, this stay was disappointing and far below what I expected. Even the breakfast did not feel up to Malaysian hospitality standards. Malaysia is famous for amazing food, but sadly the hotel management really needs to improve the quality and taste. This trip taught me one important lesson — next time I must be more careful when choosing hotels, no matter how good the online reviews look.
