When reserving and pre-paying for a hotel room through a third party website, upon arrival and check-in I was treated like I didn't matter. The hotel staff would not do anything to accommodate our room size being inadequate for our needs (too small with our daughter travelling with us), and I had to ask for extra bedding to make a bed on the small, non-pull-out couch of which they would not deliver the bedding to the room, but instead made us haul it up ourselves. For the outrageous price of $400 a night, I was wildly unimpressed. The room was clean, so I can't say it was a terrible stay. But I suppose customer service is out the window these days. I will specifically avoid Sandman in the future due to this experience.
